Be that as it may, people don’t conceive of it as such, but the measures mentioned in the article are but one example of how modern liberalism attempts to regulate and control sexual behavior, which is ironic considering how much it criticizes organized religion for doing the same (since traditional religion do things like require marriage, limit sexual behaviors, etc.). The difference is, liberalism portrays itself as universally tolerant of all sexual behavior when in fact it can be downright draconian in certain spheres. At least traditional religions are honest about their goal to regulate sexuality and to do so for the ultimate benefit of people in this life and the next.
