The Tragedy of Irony

The teenage girl said, “I feel like religion is such a burden. Why do I have to constantly worry about what God wants? I just want to live MY OWN life!”

Yet, in reality, she was under the crippling burden of peer pressure. She was constantly worried about what her boyfriend wants. And, due to her need to be accepted by the people she had surrounded herself with, she was living anything but her own life.

Somehow God was to blame.
