This eye-opening article is about the “Tsunami of Atheism” in Muslim communities.

A lot to be said about this but just a quick point. It won’t be long before teaching about heaven and hell will be seen as discrimination and hate-filled bigotry and outlawed on that basis. You can already see the line of reasoning they are using in this report. Talk of hell fire can lead to depression and depression can lead to suicide and all kinds of other health problems. Teaching children, young adults, etc., about hell and a Day of Judgment causes psychological stress and that’s bad. It causes people to discriminate others on the basis of what they believe and do, and discrimination is wrong, and must be prevented. Also, we need to be accepting of the choices people make, so to suggest that some of those choices are wrong or worthy of punishment in the sight of God is unacceptable.
