Some Muslims have been slammed for retweeting/reposting this tweet. Why?

No one is disputing the evil of violence against women (and men). Yet, a crucial, necessary, and logical step of addressing a problem is addressing that which contributes to that problem.

How is advising people to avoid hookup culture in any possible way justifying rape? Is advising people to lock up their cars justifying auto theft? Is advising people to not leave their kids unattended in busy public areas justifying kidnapping? Is advising people not to walk the streets alone late at night justifying mugging?

So, tell me, how is advising people not to partake in hookup culture, i.e., advising people not to go out to party, drink, and have casual sex with a stranger you just met justifying rape?
