Hinduism and the Satanic Origins of Fire Worship

One of the more prominent themes in the Noble Qur’ān is the creation of the first man – Adam alayhi as-salām and the subsequent intense anger displayed by Shaytan. This intense anger – based on pride – in the words of Shaytan was because he was better than Adam alayhi as-salām on account of his being made of fire.

In his fury, Shaytan asked for respite and the chance to lead man away from worshipping One Allah. Once given the respite, he has tried and will continue in his major effort to do anything and everything to draw people totally away from Allah Ta’ala and the truth.

Taking it a step further, Shaytan really desires that people worship him. He has duped man into reverence for and worship of FIRE.

“O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver [i.e., Shaytan]. Indeed, Shaytan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.”[1]

Interestingly, fire is an important part of a number of Hindu rituals.

In the earliest Hindu scriptures, Agni, the Fire God, is regarded as a supreme deity.[2] Almost every mandala or division of the Rigveda starts with a hymn to Agni.[3]

As an icon, Agni is depicted with two heads, long flowing hair, a pot belly, six eyes, seven hands, four horns and three legs.

His seven hands represent the seven flames and the three legs represent the three worlds which he reigns. His pot belly denotes his love for rich oily food. His consorts are svaha and svadha. Being a dhoomaketu, smoke is his banner. The Ram is his vehicle, and the ram being a typical sacrificial animal, his association with it denotes his connection with sacrificial rituals.[4]

During a Hindu wedding ceremony, the bride and groom are seated in front of a holy fire, or agni, as a priest recites various mantras from the Holy Scriptures. In Hinduism, fire is regarded as a purifier and a sustainer of life. In a ritual called mangalfera, the bride and groom walk around the fire four times (each a symbol of the four ashrams of life), praying and exchanging vows of duty, love, fidelity, and respect. The priest directs family members to make offerings into the fire. At the end of the ceremony, in a ritual called saptapadi, the bride and groom take seven vows, sealing the marriage forever.[5]

Man, in his willingness to fulfil his desires and do everything pleasurable is mostly blinded by the veil of deceit employed by Shaytan. The end point of the fire ritual ceremony entails making offerings into the fire. In essence, this is fire worship from a logical and Islamic perspective. A person makes offerings to a deity and he prays to a deity. Hence, we can safely conclude that fire worship is part of Hindu tradition.

Fire worship is Satanic. Not only have the Hindus fallen into the trap, but fire gods are present in many cultures and areas. People throughout history have used hundreds of names for fire gods – but in essence, all are the same. Some fire gods: Ra (Egyptian), Zhurong (Chinese), Jowangsin (Korean), Kojin (Japanese), Arshi Tenger (Mongolian).

Shaytan wants as many companions as he can get with him into the Blaze. On that day, he will not take the blame for the deceit.
