No Plague Shall Affect Us, Declares Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Right Before Plague Strikes

During the time of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, there was a plague that affected India. According to his norm of uttering profanities and issuing false prophecies, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed to have received the following inspiration:

‘Allah will not punish the people of Qadiyan whilst you, i.e., Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, are amongst them. He will protect this village from the negative effects of the plague. Had you not been honourable in my sight, I would have destroyed this village.’[1]

He also said the following,

‘The powerful lord will protect Qadiyan from the negative effects of the plague until you would understand that Qadiyan was protected because the Rasūl of Allāh was in it.’[2]

Note: Mirza Ghulam Ahmad made the claim of Nubuwwah in the above statement too. We seek the protection of Allāh from such blasphemy.

Moreover, Mirza the Imposter claimed,

‘As long as the plague remains, even though it may be seventy years, Allāh Ta’ālā will protect Qadiyan from the negative effects of it because it (Qadiyan) is the royal residence of His Rasūl and it is a sign for all the Ummahs.’[3]

Note: Here too, the claim of being a Messenger is quite evident. This is a total lie and fabrication against Allāh Ta’ālā.

So did these prophecies hold up? Was Qadiyan spared from plague?

Mirza Ahmad himself admitted that the plague had indeed affected Qadiyan!

1. The effect of the plague is very heavy here. Eight people passed away yesterday. We ask Allāh Ta’ālā for His favour.[4]

2. There is no noticeable shortage in Qadiyan until now. As I write, a Hindu neighbour of ours by the name of Bijnath passed away after remaining ill for a few hours.[5]

3. O Allāh, lift the plague from our people[6]

4. The plague hit Qadiyan. It was severe at times.[7]

Mirza the Imposter declared his initial “inspirations” to be false in the four above-mentioned statements.

Question to Qadiyanis: Why would any genuine seeker of the truth want to follow and defend a liar and imposter of this nature?

What complicates matters is that the followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad seem to find every excuse not to admit to the falsehood of their imposter master. In fact, they will go out of their way to deceive others into believing and accepting the lies they churn out all the time. May Allāh Ta’ālā save us all. Āmīn
