NewsGuard is the new censorship and propaganda tool being used to indoctrinate American children.
NewsGuard, a controversial service that ranks news sources read by clients online based on how trustworthy it considers them to be, will soon be available for free to millions of schoolchildren in the US.
The New York-based company signed a licensing agreement with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the second-largest teachers’ union in the country, making the service available to members and their students, the two said this week.
American Federation of Teachers (AFT) website covered this as well:
Under the terms of the pathbreaking licensing agreement, coinciding with National News Literacy Week, the AFT’s 1.7 million members, tens of millions of kids they teach, and their families, can now receive free, real-time “traffic light” news ratings and detailed “Nutrition Label” reviews, via a licensed copy of NewsGuard’s browser extension, whenever they search the web for news and information.
According to AFT’s President:
NewsGuard is a great tool in this regard. It is a beacon of clarity to expose the dark depths of the internet and uplift those outlets committed to truth and honesty rather than falsehoods and fabrications.
Now, is this true? Are millions of kids really going to be safe from “misinformation” on the internet because of these technologies? Or are they now going to be spoon fed state propaganda more effectively? To understand, let’s take a closer look at both NewsGuard and the AFT.
For a self-proclaimed unbiased group, NewsGuard really loves to discredit news sites along clear ideological lines. Here are some of its ratings for these sources.
Rt.com, with a score of 12.5/100:
The website of RT America, a 24/7 TV news channel and Russian government disinformation and propaganda effort. RT was previously known as Russia Today.
Zerohedge.com, with a score of 7.5/100:
A political and financial blog that has a pro-Russian perspective, and frequently publishes false information and conspiracy theories.
Truepundit.com, with a score of 0/100:
A website that has frequently promoted conspiracy theories and false information, including about the COVID-19 pandemic.
So, news sites that are ideologically opposed to the US government’s narrative — by, for example, being outspoken against the draconian COVID policies and the vaxx — are down scored and written off as conspiracy theory websites. In other words, if you garner any anti-US-establishment ideas, or even think a bit outside of the democratic box, you are exempt from the color green rating.
And as it turns out, AFT is even more cancerous than NewsGuard. Here, you have an article written by Randi Weingarten, the President of AFT, about how ‘COVID is the enemy’, and how the only solution is to vaccinate as many kids as possible with the heart attack inducing drug that supposedly ‘protects’ them from a virus that’s less deadly for children than the common flu.
An entire piece can be found on their website labelled ‘Science and Citizenship’ [Download PDF] the main goal of which is to help students recognize ‘misinformation’ using ‘evidence-based’ reasoning. And what are the ‘facts’ these kids will be taught using this method?
That evolution is how life came about, don’t question it.
That climate change is a crisis, don’t question it. (They actually suggest that CO2 being “plant food” is a myth!)
And anyone who questions the validity of these claims, anyone who has a critical analysis of evolution, or climate change, or the COVID pandemic is a crazy conspiracy theorist spreading “misinformation.” In one piece, they even discuss how children can be taught to view people who have such views as ‘cranky uncles.’
AFT presents itself as a guide for youth, teaching them how to think ‘scientifically.’ Whereas in reality what these kids will actually be taught is to promptly dismiss all anti-establishment ideas, regardless of any scientific facts or rational analysis provided.
THEIR science is wrong, OUR science is right. WE are right. JUST. LISTEN. AND. OBEY.
This is essentially what their liberal secular religion boils down to. And now with NewsGuard telling these children what is trustworthy and what isn’t, this religion has become even more weaponized and toxic.
The ultimate aim is to cut off parents as the source of knowledge and wisdom for children, and replace them with their own evil sources. Sources like the government, establishment media, entertainment, and you guessed it, state-regulated schools.
The question for Muslim parents is, will they allow their children to be indoctrinated into this cult? Will they allow their children to be zombified into mindless brainwashed adherents of secular state power? Will they allow their kids to be transformed into intolerable social justice activists whose brains can’t handle any narrative other than what the secular establishment preaches?
Will your children view you as a ‘cranky’ and unscientific old-timer and disregard your parenting?
Will Muslim parents allow their children to be snatched away by this monster?
