The Armenian Genocide: A Fictitious Narrative Manufactured by the Liberal Order

    Date:

    Share post:

On the 24th of April, we once again bore witness to the yearly commemoration of what has come to be known as the Armenian Genocide. It served as a stark reminder of how the liberal order molds the narrative in order to make it suit their malicious agenda and sway public opinion.

Their pretentious notion of “attaining truth through public debate” is nothing but a mere illusion. Liberal countries are not driven by truth or knowledge. Rather, they are driven only by emotional appeal—particularly the primal emotion of fear.

    Euronews states:

Hundreds of Armenians marched through their country’s capital to mark the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on Sunday.

Mourners gathered in Yerevan’s central square, carried lit torches, burned Turkish and Azerbaijani flags and walked through the streets in a procession accompanied by an orchestra.

The event takes place every year, and it ends with participants carrying torches to the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

In the centre of the complex is an eternal flame meant to represent the 1.5 million Armenians that historians estimate were killed during the genocide.

Islam has a remarkable track record, with one of the lowest body counts in history, trailing far behind atheism and Christianity. This is not because Islam is somehow a pacifist religion but because it provides a well-established framework and incredible guidance for warfare and perceives it as a necessary and honorable undertaking, one that must be carried out in line with certain key ethics and principles.

Tragically, many individuals harbor an extremely irrational fear towards Islam and Muslims. In certain areas, catching a mere glimpse of a bearded man is sufficient to cause some people to become unsettled. The reason behind this illogical dread is the endless barrage of liberal propaganda that is directed against Muslims, aimed at driving the non-Muslim populace toward adopting radical views against Islam. Ultimately, their objective in this regard is to subjugate and suppress Islam throughout the world.

The Armenian-Turkish conflict serves as a classic example of this propaganda strategy. Despite it being highly controversial in nature, the liberal powers desperately impose the notion that it was a genocide, completely ignoring the fact that the Armenians themselves carried out organized assaults against the Ottoman Empire. There is no established document proving that there was any kind of state decision for some sort of venture towards potentially wiping out the Armenian population. In fact, there were actually even Armenian officials within the Ottoman administration that did not face any threat of harm or being stripped of their positions.

    5Pillars reports:

This separation of military and civil control adopted by the Ottoman Empire led to widespread communal harmony. Armenians became wholly integrated and some became highly successful key members of Ottoman society. Many were appointed as Ottoman ministers at the top level of government, advised national institutions such as the National Turkish Bank and were highly trusted by the Ottoman rulers.

“In the 19th century, various Armenian families became the Sultan’s goldsmiths, Sultan’s architects and took over the currency reserves and the reserves of gold and silver, including customs duty. Sixteen of the eighteen most important bankers in the Ottoman Empire were Armenian.”

(Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian: The Man and His Work. Lisbon: Gulbenkian Foundation Press, 2010)

There are numerous other flaws that are present in this narrative too, leading some Western historians to conclude that there is no evidence whatsoever of an Armenian Genocide ever having taken place. Yet, rather than organizing public debates, where the evidence (or lack thereof) for the claims of an alleged genocide can be weighed up and evaluated, the liberal powers have instead resorted to censorship.

For instance, Bernard Lewis, a respected historian, was condemned by the French government in June, 2005, for simply stating that the supposed Armenian Genocide was merely the Armenian version of the story.

    Le Monde reports:

On Wednesday, June 21, the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris sentenced the American historian Bernard Lewis to pay one franc in damages to the Forum of Armenian Associations of France and to the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism (Licra). The first civil chamber, presided over by Jacqueline Cochard, considered that he had committed “a fault” by declaring, on November 13, 1993 in the newspaper Le Monde, that the qualification of genocide, attributed to the massacres perpetrated by the Turks in 1915, was only “the Armenian version of this story”. If the trial had taken place in a full courtroom and a very tense atmosphere (Le Monde, May 19), the judgment was welcomed in the greatest calm by the half-dozen Armenian activists who had made the trip. A sketch of applause, a few embraces in the hall, nothing more. An attitude in the image of a decision which, if it constitutes a first, does not remain any less moderate.

The judges were careful not to become judges of history. “It is not for the court to assess and decide whether the massacres committed from 1915 to 1917 constitute the crime of genocide or not,” the decision states. More generally, “since these are events relating to history, it is not the mission of the courts to arbitrate and settle controversies. All the more so, they add, since “the historian has, as a matter of principle, complete freedom to present the facts according to his or her personal views”.

However, this freedom has a limit: that of responsibility. According to article 1382 of the Civil Code, anyone who commits a “fault” and causes damage to others must make reparation. Like others, perhaps even more than another, the historian must tell the truth, nothing but the truth. And, in this case, the whole truth. Now, the court writes, “it is by concealing elements contrary to his thesis that the defendant was able to affirm that there was no ‘serious proof’ of the Armenian genocide. The judgment cited in particular the 1985 declaration of the UN Sub-Commission on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, the resolution of the European Parliament of June 18, 1987, and the work of the international colloquium in Paris in August 1984… All these elements, if they do not constitute indisputable positions, must in any case be mentioned, recalls the court, and prohibit, in any case, to accredit the idea that “the reality of the genocide would only result from the imagination of the Armenian people”.

As Muslims, we must stand firmly for the truth, regardless of how unpopular the truth may be to some. It doesn’t matter if we, ourselves, end up becoming the subject of vilification for doing so. It is imperative that we always evaluate the veracity and integrity of a claim; that we champion the facts, even when they do not favor us; and that we vehemently challenge and debunk the fictitious claims which seek only to undermine the truth.

O you who believe! If an ungodly person comes to you with any news, be discerning, so as not to afflict [a] people out of ignorance, and thereafter become regretful about what you have done. (Qur’an, 49:6)

The Armenian Genocide is nothing more than a mere fabrication, a brazen lie upon history. It is an obvious agenda-driven conspiracy that has been concocted without any real basis, and we are duty-bound to resist against the distortions and attempted manipulation of the liberal order and to uphold the pristine teachings and principles of Islam.

    1. it wasnt a genocide, it was a forced deportation to ensure the safety of the turkish and kurdish people of eastern anatolia. the armenian people joined various gangs, such as the henchak and allied with the russians in ww1 to attack the ottomans, in order to create their own state out of ottoman territory. tens of thousands of turks, kurds and jews were killed by these armenian traitors. that’s why they were moved south to the arab countries temporarily.

      • the ottoman minister who declared the armenians be temporarily sent off to iraq and syria ordered the safety of the armenians. at the end of the day, poorly-planned decisions and cruel behaviour always happen during war, and it was expected from the turks due to the treachery of the armenian population. however, calling it an armenian genocide is rubbish. armenians in western anatolia, like in istanbul and bursa who didn’t pose a threat to the empire were not deported.

        • Says the one who literally supports a state that has a history of doing genocide against Sunnis Muslims you munafiq

    2. the ottoman minister who declared the armenians be temporarily sent off to iraq and syria ordered the safety of the armenians. at the end of the day, poorly-planned decisions and cruel behaviour always happen during war, and it was expected from the turks due to the treachery of the armenian population. however, calling it an armenian genocide is rubbish. armenians in western anatolia, like in istanbul and bursa who didn’t pose a threat to the empire were not deported.

    3. Great job. I would explain the situation that is the Forced Migration of Armenians this way: During the harsh times of the greatest, bloodiest war of all time until that point, Armenians killed Muslim villagers and set whole villages on fire in the east with the support of Russia so that they could claim some of the Ottoman lands for themselves. The decision was to gather them around and force them to migrate into a safer area that is Syria.

      • However due to limitations of the time and circumstances people died on the road due to hunger and illness. Considering Ottoman soldiers were underequipped and died due to freezing in the thousands around that time, this is not just out of willing negligence. Also, bandits were hunting some of them down and looting whatever they were carrying which would be their valuables. Some officers or locals may or may not have acted in retaliation against these groups of people in a lawless way.

      • The fact of the matter is, The Ottoman Empire did not order to kill Armenians, that was not the decision. So, we have no genocide but massacres that were committed by both sides but none by the hand of the Ottoman state. Regardless of the reasons, if you force your son to go and buy some bread but he dies on the road due to a car accident, no one can or would charge you with murder. Also, the number thrown as 1.5 million Armenians is absolutely ridiculous when you consider the whole population o

      • the whole population of the empire in 1914 was 18 million and the total number of Armenians was 1.2 million according to the official Ottoman census. Why are they crying for genocide then? Because there is nothing that brings Armenians together and makes them a real nation. They need a common enemy and a common tragedy that EVERYONE’S ancestors in Armenia experienced. Also, there is good money in this business. And, they want to stain the Muslims and the great legacy that the Ottomans left.

    4. this lie has been made to make westerners hate the historical enemies of the west and to caricature a long period of muslim history as christian genocide. armenians were living side by side with turks all throughout history and if they hadn’t been treacherous, it would’ve continued to be that way. ironically, the west & israel no longer supports armenia, because armenia is a big ally of iran & russia, which are enemies of the west. azerbaijan is now seen as an ally. double standards.

      • there was also the loyal family of Armenian (I forgot the name tho’) that was given task to make some portraits for the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire such as Sultan Selim III

    5. I think the article would be better if you debunked the western arguments and claims as the 2 brothers “Mostafa and Jubair” have done in the comments

      • This was an article on the utilization of made-up genocides to justify the hate of Islam. In sha Allah we may write a complete article on the debunking of western arguments.

        • I still disagree with you guys on this one but if you give sufficient evidence and make more articles on the subject then I may change my mind . But let’s say for the sake of argument it happened this actually proves the liberal world order is wrong and the reason for the suffering of the Armenians. As the ones who orchestrated it were liberal “Muslims” and they were also secularists and Turkish nationalists. So this disproves the notion of “tolerance” and “free speech” in liberalism.

        • Also what about Greeks and Assyrians who were killed historians have noted the Armenians genocide also included ethnic groups from those people and at minimum 600k Armenians were slaughtered.

          • Turks that were killed in Balkans by Greeks, Serbs and Bulgars. No one mentions that because Turks don’t cry about it and call it a genocide. It was an ethnic cleansing what the Turks and other Muslim communities experienced there around the Balkan wars. But no, we have to listen to the “esteemed historians” who put forward their agenda rather than actual facts of the matter and call Muslims genocidal maniacs while calling actual bloodthirsty people innocent victims.

            • Never denied their suffering either I was saying that both sides suffered but Muslims suffered the most when the ottomans were in decline. But you are right many historians shouldn’t call this a genocide orchestrated by Muslims rather they should call it the genocide caused by nationalism, liberalism and secular modernity.

        • You one of those pro Iran regime people? I thought you guys are “anti imperialist” and say “death to america”. So, when US invades Afghanistan, supports a puppet government there, the people who fight and kicked out the Americans are bad now? Also, Taliban are nice to Shia and protect them from khawarij who try to unjustly murder them. Also, the US gave Iraq to Shias and Iran, and you guys killed Saddam. You shias are fake hypocrites full of taqiyya

    6. So, the “liberal order” made up a genocide to make Muslims look bad, but then in the 90’s labelled the Bosnian tragedy as a genocide where the victims were Muslim?

      • They also invaded Iraq based on lies, caused hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of deaths, this wasn’t a genocide according to them, but when ISIS killed 5000 yazidis, they said it was a genocide.

        • They managed to kill 600k deaths in 40 months and the yazidi genocide was caused by the west as the west created and heavily funded ISIS.

      • The liberal order will do whatever serves its interests. They are now also rallying behind the Uyghurs. Not because they like them but because they need the support of the Muslim world in their fight against an increasingly stronger China. Same with Bosnia. Siding with the Bosnians served its interests because the Serbs were/are basically an outpost of Russia. Power politics isn’t about principals it’s about interests.

        • And maybe this page is labelling something a conspiracy not because of principles but because it’s “their side” which is getting blamed

      • Stalin’s hippie daughter being dumb as usual. Early on, the West was pro-Serb and anti-Bosnyak, and even when Srebrenica happened, the Dutch UNPROFOR units stayed inactive. More than enough to show that you people don’t care for Muslims at all. So why did the Srebrenica genocide get attention? Because Serbs went too wild and crossed the Western limit of atrocities. One what-if scenario: If Serbs were Muslims and Bosnyaks were Christians, then Serbs would face a West-approved genocide.

    7. Why do you attribute the Armenian Genocide to the Ottoman Empire, when it was committed by the Ataturk gang? Wasn’t it they who committed it as part of their Kufr liberal-nationalist agenda?

      • Yes they were the ones who overthrew the Sultan Abdulhamid II Han and got the ottomans into WWI on the side of the central powers and then abolished the sultanate after they lost.

    8. It seems to me that the term ‘genocide’ is a political tool used to demonize your enemies.Have you noticed that all nations accused of genocide deny it? (except Germany because they lost). Ie, Russia denies the Circassian genocide, Turkey denies the Armenian genocide, France denies any genocide in Algeria,And events that can be described as genocides are not considered such, ie the allies mass bombing, raping, and ethnically cleansing Germans during WW2, what the US did in Iraq, and what

    9. Bashar, Iran, and Russia did to Syria. And what is quite odd is that ISIS according to the Liberal World Order did a genocide when they killed 5000 yazidis, yet what the US, Iran, Russia, and Bashar did there isn’tIt seems to me that nations will never call their severe crimes they did as genocides, but they will call what their enemies did as genocides, and if they win, they will do lots of propaganda against them declaring them as genocidal savages, and make it illegal to question such

      • If one white, jew or christian dies it’s a genocide worth killing BILLIONS of Muslims. If millions of Muslims are tortured and killed, it’s freedom, democracy and progress of the Western world.

        • Lots of white Christians were killed, ethnically cleansed, raped, starved, and massively bombed during WW2 by the allies, yet they don’t call it a genocide. It is strange, these people supposedly cared about Christians in Iraq when ISIS was taking over some lands there, but they so savagely killed Christians during WW2 while helping genocidal communist atheists who banned Christianity and genocided Christians take over Europe, while calling the the ones who did this to white Christians heros

    10. The Young Turks responsible for this event were largely westernized secular nationalists. Many even hated Islam. And many weren’t even ethnic Turks. If there was an attempted genocide it was on the part of the Armenians with the help of the Russians against the Turks…and particularly against the Kurds in that region. Crimes have inevitably been committed by the secular nationalists. Calling it a genocide is misuse of the term. The “Armenian Genocide” is a political stick to hit Turkey with..

      • …whenever they get out of pocket. It’s also a scheme to financially bleed the Turks dry. The moment Turkey would agree with this they’d get hit with claims and reparations requests which will handicap them financially and impoverish them severely. And this will make sure Turkey won’t ever be a political player with weight on the world stage again.

    11. it happened during the rule of the Young Turks who were secular, indoctrinated with western values, Why Muslims should be blamed for it!

    12. This events took place during WW1, when Russia, France, the UK were literally besieging the Ottoman Empire. As a matter of fact Russia did invade eastern Anatolia and while this happened there were many organized and armed armenian militias/gangs attacking and sabotaging the Ottoman forces and the non-Armenian population(turks, kurds). For example this gangs gunned unarmed civilians when walking out of the mosque. The Ottoman authorities, while fighting a total war of survival against the…

      • ..imperial russian invading army, took the decision to displace the armenian population away from the front lines(to Syria and Iraq), because they feared the russian army would arm the armenians and create a new hostile army inside Ottoman territory. During this displacement hundreds of thousands perished of hunger, thirst and robberies by bandits and also by turkish and kurdish civilians seeking revenge. This resulted in a tragic outcome. The question is, if France, UK or USA were in the..

        • situation, would they not have done the exact same thing or even worse? Let’s not forget that France massacred more than 1 million people in Algeria because they did not want to give them independence or the USA genocide on the native American tribes during the 1800’s,that happened during the same period that the Russian empire was conquering the Caucasus and was literally wiping out the circassians(a muslim people native to the Caucasus)This without mentioning the millions of muslims that..

          • were massacred in the Balkans after the Ottoman army lost the war prior to WW1. In Greece for example, entire muslim communities were wiped out during that war, the same thing in other balkan countries. And this without going way back in history to the genocide on the Andalusians in the Iberian peninsula, it seems as if the Christians never tolerated different religions under their rule, once they took power they just killed the different or anyone with a different ideology…

    13. More interestingly (and sadly), there is a clear evidence for Muslim genocide DONE BY Armenian dashnaks. After Soviets came to power, Armenians who got not what they want from Ottoman lands were happy to do terror and genocide in some Central cities and countryside. They kill mostly Kazakh and Uzbek Turks and some Tajiks in the process. But today our post-soviet governments keep absolute silence in order to not deteriorate ‘friendship’ between countries and different nationalities.

    14. Im not sure about this specific topic but not act like the Ottomans were good people they weren’t. They conquered Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Crotia and how many of those countries are muslim? Their conquests weren’t for Islam but for themselves. Look at what they did to Sheikh Ibn Abdul Wahab’s grandson under the leadership of that heretic, sinner Ibrahim Pasha may Allah give him what he deserves. Look at what they did to Dhiriyah. By far the Ottomans are among the worst Islamic states.

      • Do you even know the Virtue of those who spread Islam to Lands? Yeah you probably don’t, might as well blame any other Muslim leaders such as Keyqubad I, Caliph Walid I and Mahmud of Ghaznavi since they spread Islam to the “unknown land that is not supposed to know the beauty of Islam” am i right?

      • Those countries you mentions did have huge Muslims minorities or used to have Muslim majority states but the Muslims of those counties were wiped out by the Christians when those countries became independent.

      • Also if the ottomans was one of the worst Islamic states than the Arab gulf countries are even more dangerous and worse they helped in the west’s war on Islam in which 6-11 million Muslims were slaughtered and 38-64 million Muslims were displaced and funded terrorists with the west to make Islam look bad they and the west funded and helped create 1515 they also have Morocco Bahrain and UAE the green light to normalize ties with isreal.

    15. Assalamualaikum. My question is, why would liberals want people to believe in this Armenian Genocide? Is it meant to vilify the Ottomans, and thereby, the Khilafah?

      • Wa alaikum assalam. Its practical purpose is weakening Erdogan by taking advantage of the inferiority (to Western nations) complex in Turkish population, and turn Turks against him. Western powers say there was a genocide, Erdogan says wasn’t.

      • Lol that’s literally the Christian liberal narrative it never happens and they deserved it” btw it was liberals who orchestrated the Armenian genocide not Muslims

    16. There was an article published on Muslim skeptic published by a Turkish brother like a year after this article which explicitly stated that the Armenian genocide happened and gave more sources for it. Now, it appears that the article was deleted, and it seems that he was censored.
