You will immediately notice that this so-called act of “honor revenge” is clearly not condoned within Islam. In fact, it would most certainly be haram (unlawful):

• In Islam, it is explicitly forbidden for someone to strike a person on the face.
• In Islam, the brother has no right to hit his sister for something she’s done.
• Even in those cases where Islam permits ta’zir (physically disciplining someone) for things like reformation and educational purposes, it is not permissible to resort to such radically violent measures.

Predictably, Islamophobes seized this as a golden opportunity for them to unjustly attack Islam, without even making the slightest attempt to hide their malicious intent.

This is obviously an idiotic attempt to undermine Islam, to say the very least. You simply cannot criticize a religion based on the actions of some of its adherents, when that very same religion deems those actions to be unlawful. Yet, these same individuals fail to acknowledge the significant rates of violence against women within Western countries, despite the prevalent rise of atheism and liberalism in those countries.

Women in the West frequently experience abuse at the hands of jealous family members or partners. Then there’s the undeniable fact that a very significant percentage of abuse is linked to alcohol consumption, something that is expressly forbidden in Islam.

Alcohol plays an important part in IPV. The study found that 30 to 40 percent of the men and 27 to 34 percent of the women who perpetrated violence against their partners were drinking at the time of the event. Alcohol-related problems were associated with IPV among blacks and whites, but not among Hispanics. Alcohol’s role in partner violence may be explained by people’s expectations that alcohol will have a disinhibitory effect on behavior or by alcohol’s direct physiological disinhibitory effect. It is also possible that people consciously use alcohol as an excuse for their violent behavior or that alcohol appears to be associated with violence because both heavier drinking and violence have common predictors, such as an impulsive personality.

In fact, there are no studies to date that indicate that violence against women is more prevalent among Muslims.

What would these haters think, for example, if someone were to use examples such as the above to try and push the idea that atheists are inherently violent people who love to just go around beating their women for no reason at all?

They would probably laugh at the moronic reasoning behind such a crazy claim—and rightly so. Yet, they ironically use this very same line of argument against Islam at every opportunity they get.

The reactions to this video also reveal some other underlying issues. Yes, the brother’s actions were obviously egregious and appalling. I’m sure nobody will object to that. However, none of the comments recognize the importance of ensuring the responsible behavior of women on social media. Instead, they all adhere to the same socially engineered flawed liberal notion of women being encouraged to express their “freedom” to do whatever they feel at any given moment, regardless of how it will affect them mentally, physically, and spiritually.

This type of thinking has contributed significantly to the moral decay and corruption of Western society. These individuals are responsible for the rise of platforms such as OnlyFans and the proliferation of TikTok dance videos.

This sweeping  corruption of women’s morality has led to decreased satisfaction in marriages, the breakdown of the family unit, and a mental health epidemic. The prevailing culture of exhibitionism, normalized by those who lack virtue, makes it extremely challenging for men to find women who are honorable and dignified.

Allow me to, once again, reiterate my sincere condemnation of all that transpired, as it undeniably goes against the most basic teachings of Islam. However, this does not, in any way, mean that I think such actions by women should go completely unchecked. Her actions also go against the most basic teachings of Islam. Under Islamic law, both the qadi (judge) and her wali (guardian) or husband would have the right to punish her, within the limits of the shari’ah of course.

Furthermore, a society in which degeneracy is met with the most severe and unjust consequences is still more preferable to one where degeneracy not only goes completely unchecked but is also encouraged.

What modern reformists and Islamophobes fail to mention is that they secretly desire a world where such shameful and despicable displays are met with no repercussions whatsoever.

As a community, we need to find a halal and intelligent approach to guide our sisters and steer them away from such a brainwashed mindset of immodesty and immorality.

Social media stands as one of the most detrimental catastrophes of modern society. It is a tool for social-engineering and it leads to severe mental health problems. It facilitates moral depravity and open sinning on unprecedented levels. Despite this, we are yet to find an effective solution to prevent it from corrupting our innocent and unsuspecting Muslim youth. Through social media, many brothers and sisters have become engaged in premarital relationships. Many have had their Islamic beliefs and morals engineered and warped in favor of liberalism. Many have fallen prey to immoral, sinful, and idiotic trends.

I believe this sickness is one that must also be eradicated from the West too, for we cannot allow our communities to succumb to such a dangerous and misleading path.

Do not be swayed by the backlash of these weak-willed and feeble-minded individuals. Some people are led astray by the diseases that reside in the depths of their hearts, while others uphold justice and understand that Islam does not endorse the actions of the brother or the sister.

This replies exemplify that those who stray from the path of Islam are often malignant individuals with shallow thinking, and neither does Islam nor does the Muslim ummah require their presence. Iman (faith) is a blessing from Allah. He bestows it upon whomever He wills and he deprives whomever He wills from its light. Never take it for granted.

If these despicable individuals were truly virtuous, they would have criticized the actions of both the brother and the sister. They would not justify the actions of either party.

And if they had even an iota of intelligence or honesty, they would never conflate the actions of either of them with Islam when it forbids both.
