In a pivotal moment earlier this week, the subject of Hijrah (migration) finally ended up stepping into the limelight within the mainstream media in France.
Idriss Sihamedi, a conservative and undoubtedly controversial figure within the French Muslim community, took Twitter by storm when he publicly called upon Emmanuel Macron for assistance in establishing some sort of scheme towards supporting French Muslims in leaving the country and migrating abroad.
— Idriss Sihamedi (@IdrissSihamedi) July 29, 2023
“Hello @EmmanuelMacron. There’s no love lost between us, however, many Muslims wish to leave your kingdom. Based on my experience, I would like to assist every Muslim in leaving French territory. I am ready and willing to work with the authorities towards making this happen.”
The idea of a state-sponsored Shari’ah system may seem quite laughable, yet it is something that has been emerging gradually within France’s conservative Muslim circles.
This quandary finds its roots, over the past century, in France’s migration policy. With the nation’s lenient naturalization process, a significant portion of the population now comprises French citizens that are of immigrant origins. As a result, a delightful potpourri of different cultures has come to thrive within the country’s borders. Alas, in the heart of France, for many on the right, as well as among white supremacists, however, this eclectic coexistence has given rise to strong feelings of insecurity.
Sure, it is possible to contemplate curtailing immigration through enforcing stricter policies and repatriating illegal immigrants to their countries of origin. However, the true challenge lies in dealing with French citizens that are of an immigrant heritage—people who are legal citizens of France that have no other place that they can call home, no foreign soil for them to “return” to. Hence this astounding proposition by Idriss Sihamedi of an entirely voluntary “re-emigration” or Hijrah movement for French Muslims.

Let us delve a little deeper into the profound complexities surrounding Idriss Sihamedi’s fervent plea to President Macron. It brings to light a striking naivety, one that stands against the backdrop of flexible immigration stances and a strategy aimed at assimilating those of the Muslim faith. Macron’s government, however, seems to harbor a particularly pernicious and devious intent, steering the course far from the gentle warmth of Muslim culture and, instead, pushing for the complete abandonment of Islam. Allowing disillusioned Muslims to leave the country in favor of a better life in superior lands may simply not be on the agenda.
Interestingly, Sihamedi initiated a large, inclusive Twitter Space for French citizens, in which he invited relevant discussions on the necessity of Hijrah and potential methods towards seeing it become a reality. This big digital gathering attracted not only Muslims but also curious Identitarians, who sought to gauge the sentiments within the Muslim community.
“Yesterday’s Space brought together more than 1,000 listeners, and the overwhelming majority of Muslims are unanimous on the idea of organizing themselves in exhausting every possible avenue towards guaranteeing their right to worship, particularly by leaving French territory.
“The idea has now become a project.”

At this juncture, one would have naturally expected to witness some sort of unanimity among all parties of the French population, especially considering the convergence of interests. An unusual point of convergence is found in the desire of Muslims to leave and the yearning of the French to see the backs of the Muslims. Yet, despite what would have otherwise been perceived as common ground, what we actually witnessed was a surprising reaction surfacing from France’s patriot bloc. Rather than celebrating the emergent pro-Hijrah sentiment and stance of Muslims, many instead perceived it as a vicious attack against their cherished culture, and they rallied passionately to sell the superiority of their beloved France to the Muslims who are determined to leave.
Damien Rieu, in his bitterness, tweeted with great fervor:
Ils sont en train d’expliquer que la France est islamophobe alors que des millions de musulmans risquent leur vie pour y venir… 🤪 https://t.co/ZEyJ2ndNsj

It really takes a special kind of idiocy to not be able to understand that human beings can very well become disillusioned with something after having experienced the reality of that thing first-hand. A person can be extremely regretful of doing something that they, at the time, had thought was good or beneficial for them. The grass is not always greener on the other side.
Nonetheless, this reaction unveils the bewildering psyche of the Islamophobic right. Their ostensible rhetoric regarding security, immigration, and republicanism masks an undercurrent of supremacy; a desperate urge to shove the supposed beauty of their nation and values in everyone’s faces and impose it on them.
For these insecure Identitarians, the mere presence of Muslims in France gives them a feeling of comfort and reassurance as to the nation’s worth. I mean, why would so many Muslims choose to stay if there were greener pastures elsewhere, right? Right…?
Our hopes now rest on the success of the Hijrah project—a project that is not reliant on state intervention but, rather, driven by the benevolence of private organizations. While humanitarian initiatives addressing hunger may be of a greater priority according to many of us, others would probably disagree based on the fact that preservation of din takes precedence over preservation of life. Unfortunately, however, very little attention is given to supporting Hijrah for Muslims despite it being a cause that is directly advocated for in the Qur’an.
˹A share of these spoils˺ belongs to the needy Émigrés — who have been expelled from their dwellings and ˹dispossessed of˺ their wealth — seeking ˹all-nourishing˺ bounty from Allah and ˹His˺ good pleasure, and to support ˹the cause of˺ Allah and His Messenger. It is these who are the truehearted. As for those who were ˹already˺ settled in the abode ˹of Madinah˺, and ˹who were firm in˺ faith before ˹the Emigration˺, they love those who emigrated to them and find no ˹covetous want in their breast for what ˹the Émigrés˺ have been given. Rather, they give ˹them˺ preference over their own selves — even when they themselves are in pressing need. And whoever is safeguarded from the avarice of his own soul — then it is these who are the ˹truly˺ successful. (Qur’an, 59:8-9)

Perhaps this burgeoning awareness heralds the genesis of a new demographic epoch, one where highly educated European Muslims may return to their ancestral Islamic homelands, contributing to the establishment of a new Muslim empire. An era when the lands of disbelief may witness the gradual migration of Muslims who eagerly abandon the morally barren wastelands they currently occupy, leaving behind any traces of liberalism that they may have picked up along the way, re-embracing, fully, the unblemished purity of their Islamic faith and roots.
If such a time were to materialize, we may be able to further fortify and protect the ummah’s resilience against the sweeping tides of global liberalism and modernity. And Europe’s white supremacists, with their lifelong struggle now rendered obsolete, may perhaps, in the end, find themselves feeling a little bit lonesome in the blandness of their monotonous culture and depleting population numbers due to their low birth rates.
Just imagine how significant an impact this would have on the economies of such deeply Islamophobic countries; and how much the added contributions of these passionate Muslims would benefit Muslim countries. This alone should be sufficient to make the rabid Islamophobes cry themselves to sleep at night, reminiscing of the good old days, when Muslims graced their desolate shores.

So they just want everyone to accept their liberal woke degeneracy and they essentially want what the catholic hasburgs wanted for the Spanish Muslims and juice . Complete abandonment of their religion culture and traditions . This is their chance to get rid of Muslims but instead they are making fun of them and trying to get them to stay so they could bulky and scapegoat them even more. Jazakallahu kahirn for this eye opening article.
The Habsburgs in the kingdoms of Castile and Aragon(now Spain) and the church did even enforce a prohibition for moriscos(andalusian muslims forced to become Christians) to travel freely, to prevent them from leaving the country because the andalusian population was key to maintain the agriculture(specially olive trees) sector alive since most christian men avoided physical labor and wanted to be knights and fight in conquests in the new world, and fight agaisnt protestants and muslims.
Yes eventually they expelled them and Christians who were descended from Muslims and Jews in the beginning of the 1600s and that effectively destroyed their agriculture and economy and it the population of Spain continued to decline . Basically they depopulated their country .And like America got involved in so much useless wars and doing stupid things like incest that the Spanish hasburgs died out and Spain was no longer the superpower it once was between the 1550s and 1590s
Yes, the Habsburg monarchy in Spain bankrupted the state treasury to finance all their wars against the protestants(English and Dutch). Included the gold that they brought from the new world(America). When they expelled the moriscos population in the early 1600’s entire agricultural fields(mediterranean crops)where left abandoned, specially in the eastern regio of Valencia.Christian migration to America and the expulsion of the muslim populations, left entire regions depopulated and in crisis.
Western Liberals: We don’t want muslim immigrants in our countries, they are invaders who are destroying the culture and are criminals, and we ban hijab, niqab, and insult their religion and remove their children from their family if they are not degenerate liberals like us
Also Western Liberals: Lol, why are they proposing to leave our countries, when we ban hijab, niqab, parts of the Quran, insult their religion, we are not Islamphobic, (also, kind of implying they shouldn’t leave)
Pretty much
Dude, you’re just as big of a joke as the liberals
What do Rawafid and Western liberals have in common? Both are kuffar.
Also, back in the day, you dudes used to ally with Christians against us, like The Persian embassy to Europe (1609–1615).
Also, you dudes cut your self and do hindu like practices like fire walking, covering yourself in mud, depict ahlul bayt in hindu like pictures and worship it, do mut’ah, etc
I believe it would be correct to state an “Islamic civilization” was prevalent at some point in recorded history.
Question : Did Muslims, themselves, refer to themselves, as an “Empire” (exclude the Ottoman version).
I am aware western historians, referred to the Ottoman, as an “Empire” (but that was not my question).
I am not a native Arabic speaker – so can someone on the skeptics team, research anything from their related time periods (poems, any personal accounts) backing
From my humble exposure to the Arabic books, the Islamic state was not called an empire. The terms I remember being used are: the Muslim State, the Islamic caliphate, the Rightly Guided Caliphate (the reigns of the four rightly guided caliphs: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali ra), the Umayyad State or Caliphate, the Abbasid State or Caliphate, the Andalus State, and so on. Never read the “Muslim Empire” in a text written by a Muslim. Might find a contemporary author using it tho. Allah knows best.
Mashallah i love your articles, unlike many other soulless websites with little to no benefit gained from reading what they have to offer, i really feel like I’m gaining more knowledge and a new perspective for the world
What are best migration spots for Muslims
I am including Muslim and non Muslims. Indonesia,Malaysia, Saudi Arabia,Jordan, Turkey, Thailand,Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, morroco, maybe Botswana, maybe Russia like in Dagestan or Chechnya or Tataristan . Some parts of India like Kerala and Tamil Nadu , Madagascar maybe Egypt and if in America go to the conservative south states and the mountains of western America and in Alaska maybe Romania Singapore maybe in Australia like the empty states maybe even Canadian and British rural areas,
Idk where else
I would probably not include India, let alone states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu (both of them quite secular). Hindus hate these states and for a reason, they are “peaceful” but getting secularised way too quickly in reaction to ever increasing push of Hindutva.
I was thinking of places where Muslims would be Abel to form their communities and remain safe but Jazakallahu kahrin for correcting me
Russia is not good either. In fact, in whole USSR secular governments are wholly controlling religion institutions.
There is another legal dimension to the Hijra issue, which makes it important for Muslims to move only to Muslim-majority lands – the issue of citizenship. Many Muslim lands’ constitutions recognise the Sharia as the source of law (even if they don’t properly follow it). When someone wants some form of citizenship, they usually have to swear loyalty to the state and uphol its law, under oath. It does not behove a Muslim to swear allegiance to Taghut and uphold it – the Quran condemns this.
Of course, it is possible to move and simply not obtain a citizenship. I just mentioned citizenship because many people feel the need for some kind of security. The truth (taking Saudi Arabia as an example) – is that there are many people living comfortably and without citizenship for generations. May Allah ease the affairs of all Muslims.
Is it true that Bengalis and Indians and southeast Asian Muslims in Saudi don’t live the comfortable lives that an average Saudi citizen lives and does all the low pay jobs and aren’t able to get citizenship how accurate is that?
The best spot is your motherland. If it isn’t Islamic than the Muslim nation most nearby. If your Indian Bangladesh would be that place.
your Indian = you’re Indian
Brother from. The comment section it seems most people want this to happen
Of course Muslims aren’t Abel to practice Islam in France literally they should leva that rotten decedent place and let it collapse .
This is a false dichotomy. Both can be true at the same time. Most people migrate to France purely for worldy reasons: education, training or work i.e. money. If France didn’t suck these North- and West-African nations dry they might have sufficient means and people wouldn’t feel the need to migrate. These countries are effectively still colonies.
It is not entirely correct that France is to blame for all these countries not having a good economy. For example, France has control of currency reserves of a number of west african countries, some can argue that this is colonialism. But many don’t understand that allowing the local dictators to control and mismanage the local currency reserves might create an inflation worse than that of Argentina or Venezuela and then millions would migrate to Europe fleeing from the crisis
The islamophobes: I want to kick you out of my country but i don’t want you to leave on your own accord.
Les islamophobes : Je veux te chasser de mon pays mais je ne veux pas que tu partes de ton propre gré.
