    Palestine: Combating Disinformation and False Propaganda

    In the wake of the recent hostilities in Palestine, there’s a discernible shift in media narratives.

    The objective of this media pivot is clear: to shape global sentiments against Muslims, potentially leveraging international support. Given that global attention has, over the last few years, been divided between the pandemic and geopolitical events such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, if this narrative can be used to reignite concerns about radical Islam, they’ll take that as a win.

    It’s troubling to witness some groups taking advantage of heart-wrenching footage to try and sway the uninformed—those whose gravest concerns might otherwise have been waiting in a long queue at McDonald’s or the pressures of work.

    What we see is a barrage of propaganda against Palestine and Palestinian Muslims, which includes the spreading of demonstrably false and slanderous accusations:

    This false propaganda against Palestinians is accompanied by the complete ignoring and whitewashing of the endless inhuman treatment and brutalization of Palestinians perpetrated by Zionist Israelis, with slogans of “Israel has a right to defend itself.”

    We must do everything we can to counteract these lies and the blatantly misleading narrative by highlighting the profound injustices committed by certain regimes, including Israel, against Muslims. What follows is a small collection of just some of these extremely distressing and disturbing instances.

    Engage with influential Islamophobic accounts that might be perpetuating bias and expose their blatant lies and false propaganda. Share these facts and insights in the replies.

    And remember, it’s crucial to download and save these videos offline. There’s a very real likelihood that certain powers will make attempts to sweep them under the rug.

    Let us stand in solidarity with our Palestinian siblings and hope for their steadfast resilience.

But I really don’t know how to react when indian zombie hindus are inundating the social media with hate against muslims when Israel doesn’t give an ounce of recognition to their support.
