The Transhumanist Agenda

Billionaire Elon Musk has finally begun testing his latest product, the Neuralink, which will possibly be the most devastating technology for humans in the coming decades or even centuries:

The first human received an implant from @Neuralink yesterday and is recovering well.

Initial results show promising neuron spike detection.

Neuralink is not the only BCI (brain computer interface) technology, but it is by far the most popular, and its purpose is to eventually allow humans to have full “telepathic” control of the technological devices in their possession (phones, laptops, gadgets, etc.). Such a goal sounds dystopian to say the very least, a concern that was also expressed in the replies to the above tweet.

We’ve already covered some of the major detrimental changes to society as a result of AI here, and, in this article, we shall attempt to do the same for Neuralink. From totalitarian mind surveillance to the false promise of a digital Paradise, Neuralink is chock full of dystopian nightmares. Unfortunately, the nature of such technology, especially when it is heavily implemented in society, is often devastating beyond comprehension, despite its initial positive promises to mankind.

Although the company may be trying to conceal its true intentions by marketing itself as a noble corporation that’s only trying to use Neuralink to cure debilitating diseases like paralysis and spinal cord injuries, Elon Musk’s true long-term goal for this technology is on the record:

Someday, it may offer much more, asserts Musk. It could bestow mental superpowers on healthy people, dubbed “human augmentation,” by seamlessly linking our brains and computers to download knowledge and upload thoughts.

 

“Ultimately we will achieve symbiosis with artificial intelligence,” he promised at a rare Neuralink news conference in San Francisco in 2019. “This is something that I think will be really important on a civilization-level scale.”

So, not only does Musk want to create a dystopian technology, he wants to use it to merge humans with another one. Of course, for transhumanists, “Neuralink + AI + Humanity = Dream Come True,” but for the rest of mankind it’s just going to be nothing short of a real horror show.

An Exit from the Human Brain

The first step towards getting a Neuralink implant is to undergo a surgical procedure in which a hole is drilled into your skull, wherein the Neuralink device will be fitted.

The implanted electrodes are then able to record and transmit the neural activity taking place in the brain:

Advanced, custom, low-power chips and electronics process neural signals, transmitting them wirelessly to the Neuralink Application, which decodes the data stream into actions and intents.

The basic concept behind how Neuralink works can be explained using a simple example.

Imagine there is a cursor on a screen, and you want to move it, but using only your mind. All you have to do is imagine the cursor moving in your head, and what that will do is generate a specific kind of electrical pattern in your brain. That neural activity will be read by electrodes of the Neuralink implant and wirelessly transmitted through a microchip, into the device you want to control. Here, that neural information will be decoded and executed as a command to move the cursor in the desired direction.

Thinking the command > Transmission of the command > Interpretation of the command > Execution of the command.

Think of it like moving a muscle. Look at your hand right now and form a fist. How did you consciously do that? The thought generated electrical impulses in your central nervous system, which traveled down your spine and throughout all the nerves leading to your hand. Those impulses caused the muscle fibers to contract in a way that formed a fist. The same happens with Neuralink, except that, instead of moving through nerve fibers in the body, the electrical impulses are wirelessly transmitted to an external device that causes, for example, a cursor to move.

Another way to think about this is a video game. The player uses a controller to move a character on the screen. In this analogy, the character in the game refers to the skeletal muscles in the body, the game controller refers to the nervous system (or in the case of the Neuralink, the microchip), and the player refers to you and your thoughts/intentions/will. The controller/nervous system/microchip allows you to output your thoughts/intentions/will into the world/on the screen.

One must bear in mind however, that imperfect technologies such as the Neuralink are nothing compared to the perfection involved in the human circuitry. The amount of physiological perfection present in the human body is something that these transhumanists will never achieve even a sliver of, no matter how sophisticated their technology becomes:

Indeed, We created humans in the best form. (Qur’an, 95:4)

This mechanism, where the implanted chip essentially allows your thoughts to “exit” the brain directly, can be used to pretty much do anything on an electrical device that you can do now, even play games. Instead of moving an analog stick to move a character in the game, you can just imagine it moving and that will be enough. Instead of mashing buttons to fight, you can just imagine it. It won’t be long before this technology gets to that point. It’s only a matter of how quickly the transhumanist elites are able to overcome public resistance to its widespread implementation.

Addiction and the Human Brain

To understand some of the initial effects of the integration of Neuralink, recall that, when technologies like the smartphone, social media, and the Internet were introduced, they too were touted as beneficial products that would revolutionize the world for the better. It was all about having a world of information at your fingertips and being able to connect with loved ones across the globe. Aside from the skeptics who were ridiculed as crazy tinfoil hatters, no one expected the downfall of society that was about to ensue as a result of these technologies. People didn’t stop to think whether having the ability to access the rest of the world from such a tiny device might actually be dangerous and something that should be handled with extreme caution and responsibility.

It was only as time went on and the disruptive consequences of these technologies were impossible to ignore, that the world finally began to take heed and pay attention. All of a sudden, Gen-Z was suffering from extreme addiction, depression, anxiety, ADHD, brain fog, low IQ, lethargy, and a whole plethora of other disorders that would otherwise only arise through drug abuse. Parents were left confused as to why their children, despite never having touched a drug in their entire lives, were turning out like this. Somehow, the effect of children overloading their minds with hyper-stimulants, by gazing into them 24/7, went completely over the heads of parents.

It wasn’t until these technologies were deeply integrated into modern societies that studies were finally conducted on the extreme havoc they’d wreaked upon the human mind. News articles and mainstream media finally started paying attention to the radical shift in mankind’s behavior and their dangerous dependence on the devices that earned the moniker of “the accessory brain.” But, by then, it was too late. No one was willing to take meaningful steps towards removing this blight from society. The damage had already been done, and it was irreversible, i.e., the complete purge of such technologies from society is now such a difficult task that no one even considers it to be a viable solution.

The Association between Pathological Internet Use and Comorbid Psychopathology: A Systematic Review revealed the extent of these symptoms back in 2012, more than a decade ago:

Twenty articles met the preset inclusion and exclusion criteria; 75% reported significant correlations of PIU with depression, 57% with anxiety, 100% with symptoms of ADHD, 60% with obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and 66% with hostility/aggression. No study reported associations between PIU and social phobia. The majority of studies reported a higher rate of PIU among males than females.

If this was 12 years ago, just imagine these effects now. Bear in mind, this study collected data from before the advent of ultra-short content like TikTok and Instagram reels, YouTube Shorts, Vines, etc., that have utterly demolished the human attention span.

The famous “neurotransmitter” dopamine is central in understanding the way modern neuroscience perceives addiction. Let’s take a brief look at how this works.

Whenever a person carries out a desirous activity, a region in the basal forebrain known as the “nucleus accumbens” releases a flood of a chemical called dopamine. This chemical produces a pleasurable sensation and “motivates” the person to once again seek out the action that elicited this response. This cycle of seeking the action in order to gain the reward quickly turns into a habit. The more stimulating/pleasurable the activity, the more addictive it is.

However, pursuing this pathway of desire weakens the ability to use the decision-making area of the brain. Therefore, the more addicted you become to something, the harder the decision to quit it becomes. The desire for pleasure overshadows and overrides the will to quit, despite full knowledge of the positive results of quitting and the negative results of continuous indulgence.

The human brain is neuroplastic, i.e., it has the ability to change and adapt to a person’s habits. The battle between the “higher” decision making area and the “lower” animalistic desire-driven area decides which way this neuroplasticity goes. The brain can be molded to pursue either one. Of course, it’s harder to train it to resist harmful desires, and given the hyper-stimulating nature of modern technology, the task is made that much more difficult.

This is why Islam is the perfect solution for such techno-drugs.

One of the most important characteristics a Muslim can develop is Taqwa, i.e., fear and consciousness of Allah.

O humankind! Indeed, We have created ˹all of˺ you from a ˹single˺ male and female. Moreover, We have made you peoples and tribes, so that you may ˹come to˺ know one another. And, indeed, the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the most God-fearing of you. Indeed, Allah is all-knowing, all-aware. (Qur’an, 49:13]

When a Muslim fears Allah, they strive to abstain from the things and actions that are forbidden upon them. They fear earning the Displeasure of their Lord, His Anger, and ultimately, the Punishment of Hell. This powerful state of awareness strongly facilitates their ability to resolve firmly against giving into their desires and, as such, they are able to elude the whispers of Shaytan and conquer their base self.

There are many actions in Islam which strengthen and increase this ability. Fasting, for instance. By abstaining from food and drink, the very things you need to survive, you train your brain to resist its base urges. Through performing Salah (the ritual prayer) and Dhikr (remembrance), you reinvigorate and fortify your consciousness of Allah, thus the Hereafter stays at the forefront of your mind. Like the edge of a spear, a Muslim continuously sharpens their mind through these religious actions that have been enjoined upon them.

Atheists, on the other hand, lack this faculty. They lack belief in Allah and the metaphysical realm, so they lack the understanding of the dire consequences of giving into their base desires. Due to their trust in science, until and unless empirical observation is made on the harmfulness of a certain action, they won’t abstain from it. Even then, however, they will persist in that action, showing weak faith even in science. For, now that even science has begun to unravel, many of the dangers of the unabated pursuing of pleasure, many atheists simply don’t care. Without the concept of an Afterlife, their minds relinquish the idea of accountability. Without the concept of being the most honored of creation, their minds surrender the dignity they ought to treat their bodies with. Without Islam, they live a life dedicated to the fulfillment of the base urges, and thus their minds remain in that lower bestial “sleeping” state.

Modern technology is a direct attack on the human body, mind, and especially spirit.

Hooked on Cyber-Heroin

Take the many disadvantages of the technologies I’ve described thus far, and multiply them a thousand fold. That’s Neuralink.

At the very least, you could put your phone away. You can turn off your laptop. Several people leave all their electronic devices and go on week-long retreats in order to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. With all of the technology that exists now, you still have the opportunity to “detox” from the distractions they provide.

All of this becomes impossible with Neuralink. Why? Because you can’t put away something that’s literally inside your skull and being wirelessly charged 24/7. Unless you happen to know a highly skilled neurosurgeon who can extract the implant from your skull without killing you, once the procedure is complete, you’re pretty much stuck with it for life.

Accessibility is one of the defining features of these devices. Their selling point is that they “save you time” by allowing you to carry out multiple tasks in a short amount of time. You also require lesser movement. There’s no need to travel to see a long-distance friend. There isn’t even any need to go see a friend next-door. You can just text or call them. There’s no need to walk or even drive all the way to the store to get groceries or food. Just order it all to your front door. There’s no need to go out exploring or physically participating in any sports outside. Just sit at home and enjoy playing a video game. There’s no need to expend time memorizing anything. You can just quickly Google everything. The list is endless.

Although these things aren’t totally bereft of temporary short-term benefits, they have unquestionably contributed largely to the rise in things like laziness, demotivation, and the dulling of the human mind. They’ve even contributed a lot towards health issues such as obesity and a weakened immune system. Once again, these technologies are an attack on the human mind, body, and spirit.

And it is effective because its target is the human desire and, at the very base level, humans want the path of least resistance, because it’s much easier to choose and follow through with.

With Neuralink, that ease of access receives a massive boost. Now, while watching Netflix, you won’t even have to lift a hand to grab the remote and change the show. You would simply control the device with your thoughts. You won’t need to verbally ask Alexa when the next holiday is coming up. You’d merely need to think it and the response will arrive automatically. The intermediary physical exertion required to access these devices will be bypassed. All you’d need to do is lay back on your couch or bed; and think.

However, someone may try and counter with the following:

Oh, but I’d still need to hold my phone to use it. That requires physical exertion.

Actually, nope. Combining Neuralink with other technologies that are on the rise, like VR headsets, you can just stare blankly into the ether while using your Neuralink. Not even hand gestures would be required. Simply imagine what you want to see or which social media platform you want to browse, endlessly, and it’ll appear before you as if by magic. People will have the ability to scroll TikTok or Instagram for hours on end, quite literally without moving a single muscle (besides maybe the ocular ones, of course).

Imagine how powerfully addictive that combination could be; and what a passive observer it could morph someone into. With a VR headset and the ability to surf the Internet with your mind, you’re basically immersed in this whole other universe. After being so thoroughly absorbed in that for hours upon hours, without having to move so much as a muscle, can you imagine how disorienting it would be to then have to snap back to reality? But will there really even be that much of a need to get up and move around though? If someone’s at the door, you could just switch to the security cameras, see who it is, and telepathically command the AI home-system to get the door for you.

But who am I kidding? No one will be visiting anyone in the post-Neuralink world anyway.

Communication will gradually become entirely non-verbal. Either you just telepathically text or, due to the intense levels of social phobia that will emerge as a result of Neuralink, people will end up switching to using ultra-realistic text-to-speech technology in order to talk on calls or even in person. It won’t be that hard. People will just upload samples of their voice into an AI that will then produce speech with a tone and pitch that matches exactly their real voice. Of course, this could potentially lead to a huge array of issues related to breach of privacy, etc., but hey, it’s only a small price to pay in order to never have to go through the effort of using one’s vocal cords ever again.

Like I mentioned earlier, the human mind is highly adaptable. The more you move, the more it strengthens your mind-muscle connections which are required for that movement. The more active you remain in whatever you do, the more prepared your brain keeps you for dealing with events in your life. However, the opposite is also true. With almost no muscle movement, Neuralink users won’t simply experience muscle atrophy, their ability and skill to use them will deteriorate as well. The synaptic bridges in their brains required for movement and physical activity will weaken, resulting in an extreme resistance and aversion to performing even the most basic of physical tasks.

Thanks to the ease of technology, many young Muslims belonging to Gen-Z find it a tedious task to walk to the store to get groceries or go to the Masjid to offer Salah. With Neuralink users, however, things will be far, far worse. Even performing menial tasks like writing, eating, or going to the bathroom might present themselves as a great, daunting challenge.

This, unfortunately, will only serve to facilitate the fall into a deep and enduring addiction. Chronic illnesses will manifest themselves much more frequently. Obesity and diabetes type 2 will become extremely common. Weakened joints like those of an elderly 70 year old will start to appear among teenagers. There is a very real possibility that if an average Joe from today was somehow transported into that dystopian future, he would be regarded as being “extremely muscular” due to the high levels of muscle atrophy that Neuralink users will be experiencing. Dependence on antibiotics and other medications will soar as Neuralink users destroy their immune systems by staying indoors for what could possibly be weeks or even months on end.

Even with our current existing technology, youngsters—or according to the Western definition, “children”—end up becoming addicted to pornography at very early ages:

Exposure to pornography during adolescence is becoming the norm rather than the exception. For example, among a sample of American high school students, 56 percent viewed pornography in the previous year (Maheaux et al., 2021). In another study of U.S. youth in late adolescence, 80.3 percent reported accessing pornography (Astle et al., 2020). Scholars studying pornography among Dutch adolescents (13 to 17 years old) noted, “More than 70 percent of the adolescents in our sample had already consumed [sexually explicit internet material] at baseline, which suggests that it is now a normative part of adolescent development” (Vandenbosch & Peter, 2016, p.516).

At this age, when the hormones are raging and many Muslims ought to get married, many instead fall into the dark, harrowing pit of pornographic addiction. Imagine this soul-crushing vice on steroids, with Neuralink. Imagine how a user could easily consume endless pornographic content without having to go through much effort or hassle. The up-close and immersive nature of VR headsets and the immediate execution of Neuralink commands would give his brain a highly ecstatic experience that would drag him down like a whirlpool. He could even have an interactive virtual AI girlfriend as part of the whole Neuralink-Metaverse-AI package that could comfort him all day and tell him that he isn’t a lonely social outcast. This ultrarealistic yet artificial mimicry of intimacy will keep him sedated, lazy, and forever demotivated.

The worst part? Even this will not be fulfilling. Just like any other drug, this one will also eventually stop providing the same level of ecstasy and excitement. The user will then turn into a lifeless zombie, endlessly chasing after that “first hit” experience, constantly lying in a corner just like a junkie. The lines that blur the difference between this individual and an actual drug abuser would cease to exist. What will remain is a pathetic shell of a human with no purpose, simply living from day to day, siphoning whatever they can off the meagre, barely existent dopamine hits. Hooked on the new cyber-heroin, their life, which was already mundane, now has no meaning left whatsoever save for a survival devoid of any purpose.

And we’re just getting started. Addiction is probably the most commonly known downside of technology, which is the reason I had decided to touch upon this issue first, before delving any deeper into the rabbit hole.

Bear in mind, this is merely the first in a long line of dangers linked to being able to transmit your thoughts to electronic devices.

Hacking the Human Mind

There are several obvious risks associated with Neuralink that the company hasn’t even begun to address, such as the unimaginable threat to privacy. Neuralink, just like any other technological device, is prone to being hacked.

As we had discussed before using the cursor analogy, the implanted electrodes record and transmit neural activity from your brain. This generates a specific neural pattern in your brain. The chip in the implant records this pattern and wirelessly transmits it to the device, where the neural command is interpreted and executed. This neural data can most certainly be recorded and interpreted by malicious outside parties which have the capability to break through any security protocols that have been put in place.

And this doesn’t apply only to the abovementioned data but to literally any of your thoughts. The electrodes from the implant can potentially read all of your neural activity, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even if only a small portion of it is used to control devices remotely. Hackers with malicious intent won’t be considerate enough to respect which neural activity to intercept and which to ignore. They’ll go after everything they can get their hands on. It has already been demonstrated that cardiac pacemakers can be hacked, and if this can happen to a heart implant, it wouldn’t be far fetched to conclude that the same holds true for Neuralink.

Only, this time, it would be the human mind being hijacked. All of the information stored within the confines of your brain will be instantly accessible, including your memories, passwords, personal details, confidential information, secrets, etc. Hackers can use and exploit this information as they wish.

Presently, the emergence of AI has brought with it a huge risk for women who post pictures of themselves online. Anyone with basic AI technology can manipulate these images to create fake sexually explicit photos and even videos of the women who posted the original pictures. No matter how much the law cracks down on behavior of this manner, it’s borderline impossible to have such fake videos scrubbed from the Internet once they’ve made it online, especially if they’ve been shared multiple times. The only real solution, as we have discussed previously, is for women to not post their pictures online at all (a huge part of which falls upon their fathers, brothers, and husbands to forbid and prevent them from doing so).

But what happens when Neuralink is involved? Let’s say a Muslim woman who has never posted a single image of herself online, someone who observes fully the proper Islamic guidelines of Hijab, decides to go ahead and get herself a Neuralink. What if her mind is hacked by hateful extremist Islamophobic groups like the Hindutva or Zionists who want nothing more than to ruin her life? Even if she’s never posted a picture online, she has images of herself stored in her mind. All her memories will now be accessible to these hackers via the Neuralink. Anyone who chooses to get a Neuralink implant will be signing off the rights to all their thoughts and memories, including the particularly embarrassing and explicit ones. No doubt these hackers will convert them into 4K videos in order to blackmail the user. Or they may decide to just post it online, onto the “Neuranet” (the conceptualized version of a future online space meant exclusively for Neuralink users) for some depraved fun and clicks.

The mind is an extremely private and personal domain for an individual. Keeping that part private is an extremely important part of being human. However, with Neuralink, everything will be displayed publicly, for all to see.

Worse than the Thought Police

Now, we can talk about the dangers of individual hackers and even dedicated hacker organizations all day long, but all of that pails in comparison to the monumental threat users will face from the very entity that is supposed to protect them from these hackers: their own government.

Just look at the mass surveillance that countries like the US and China already conduct on their populations. The US, despite being a liberal government, employs heavy censorship and aggressively tracks any who dare oppose their liberal regime. Be it a journalist exercising free speech or an online influencer questioning the liberal narrative, one thing you can be assured of is that liberal Western governments will never allow free speech that exposes them and counters the worldview they’ve established. Such individuals who seek the truth are treated as hostile enemies of the State.

Here’s just one example of the heavy unjust surveillance conducted on Muslims in the wake of 9/11. The sole purpose of this surveillance was to attack Islam directly and keep Muslims subjugated and under very strict control. An entire “counterterrorism” narrative was fabricated out of thin air in order to subjugate Muslims using terms like “extremism,” “terrorism,” and “radicalism.” Actions like attending the Masjid regularly, keeping a beard, or advocating for Shari’ah are all deemed to be major red flags, and the West has painted such things in an extremely negative light. Unfortunately, even following the law of the land in these Western countries isn’t sufficient. Even if a Muslim doesn’t break any legal rules, simply espousing basic Islamic beliefs renders them a suspect and someone predisposed to extreme violence. And, in turn, that justifies strict surveillance measures upon them in the eyes of the government.

As such, Muslims, particularly those in the West, have to be extremely careful about what they say. They experience suffocating restrictions on their freedom of speech, and the government is always observing them like wild dogs, lying in wait for any statement that can potentially be used against them in a court of law. Historically, this has been the way of the Kuffar (non-Muslims)—to seek out whatever excuse they can to attack Muslims and make them suffer. Other groups, of course, do not suffer from this level of discrimination. Jews, for example, are saved from the same kind of “inspection under the microscope” treatment that Muslims receive. Furthermore, Jewish belief and every single piece of Jewish religious text isn’t scrutinized in the same way that Islam is.

Despite having no intentions of engaging in illegal activities, Muslims are treated in this manner by the government simply for holding Islamic beliefs. Muslims have to combat this suspicion by being as careful as they can with their speech as well as what they post online. Unfortunately, that won’t be possible with Neuralink. When the government is constantly surveilling your mind, you can forget about ever verbally advocating for Khilafah. Merely even thinking about it will render you a suspicious individual and a potential threat in their eyes. Technology in the present has been used to destroy freedom of speech. Technology in the future, however, will be used to destroy freedom of thought.

Ask yourself, when you see the inhumane diaper-wearing Israeli army dropping countless bombs on our brothers and sisters in Gaza, how does that make you feel? Doesn’t it make you feel upset and angry? Doesn’t it make you curse the evil US-Israeli alliance? Now imagine how such thoughts and feelings of frustration can be monitored and read by Neuralink in the form of brain waves, to be then easily misconstrued by the government as violent illegal thoughts. They could easily utilize that as an excuse to send you off for re-education under the guise of “anger management,” that is, if they don’t just throw you in a cell. Muslims will have to constantly keep their own personal thoughts in check 24/7 in order to prevent such feelings and sentiments from ever arising in the first place.

Eventually, they may even be forced to choose between being tortured perpetually in prison for the rest of their lives or abandoning Islam altogether. Western governments will not rest until it has achieved one or the other.

But what if I don’t get a Neuralink at all? Then the government won’t be able to read my thoughts. Problem solved! Right?

Well, not quite.

The US government won’t let the opportunities presented by this technology pass them by so easily. They will want to take full advantage of it and use it to its maximum potential. This means finding every excuse possible to implant it into people’s heads. And it’s not too far-fetched to say that, in the future, governments will have full authority to implant Neuralink into anyone they deem to be suspicious, just so they can read any monitor any possible “dangerous thoughts” they might be having.

In the present, the US government can subject suspects to polygraph tests in order to find out whether they’re lying or not. This involves hooking you up to a machine that reads your breathing rate, perspiration, blood pressure, and pulse rate in order to try and detect whether or not you’re telling the truth. The same can be done with Neuralink. And even on the off chance that they don’t manage get the right to drill a hole in your skull, they’ll eventually just come up with another device similar to Neuralink which scans your brain and reads your thoughts. Once the technology is created, such variations of mind-reading machines will be possible too.

Even if a Muslim doesn’t get an implant, the government can go ahead and arrest him anyway. The charges against him? Nothing. Not getting an implant will be seen as suspicious behaviour in and of itself. But this man is just someone who holds an anti-establishment, pro-Shari’ah stance. Something that’s completely within his rights. So, what’s the excuse the government will use this time?

Oh, these ideas are usually related to extremist radical terrorist behavior, so we just wanted to scan your thoughts in order to make sure that this isn’t the case. Nothing to worry about.

Then they simply need to find a harmless thought or two—thoughts that every human can have—and deem them dangerous enough to formally throw you in jail. Maybe they find thoughts about restricting the influence of the LGBT community within a given society, implementing restrictions against women’s education for the betterment of society, or shutting down secular atheist brainwashing universities in order to establish actual productive centers of learning and knowledge. The US government isn’t controlled by people who are interested in silly ideas such justice. It’s controlled by elite corporate CEOs who simply can’t have running around the kind of people that want to change the education system and the predominant feminist society. This is too great a threat to the people factories (universities) that churn out thousands of slaves for them each and every year.

And if these crooks have to go around forcefully scanning people’s minds in order to curb and restrict such defiant ideologies, they will, and they will do so without any hesitation.

Non-Muslims will also be subjected to such forms of extreme surveillance, especially if they hold religious and/or traditional views. And it would make sense to say that even the most hardcore liberals won’t be safe from this invasive technology. Don’t you think liberals have doubts from time to time? After scanning his entire life through his brain and finding that he indeed is a loyal liberal, they may decide not to throw him in jail for his transgression. However, for merely entertaining such a blasphemous thought against the government, even for a few brief seconds, he would at the very least need to be forcefully subjected to a few therapy sessions where he’s made to watch liberal propaganda on a screen for ten hours at a time. He would lose his social status among his peers, as those taken by the Thought Police would be forever looked down upon, regardless of how well they’d served the liberal world order until then.

Having blasphemous thoughts against the liberal regime’s narrative would be viewed as one of the worst things a person could ever do.

Of course, this technology will also be used to arrest people for “pre-crimes.” Such crimes would be committed not by actions but by mere thought alone. The government would act as fortune tellers with crystal balls, gazing into the thoughts of the populous. And it is they who would decide which thoughts have a strong potential for criminal activity. They would label just the concept of having these thoughts “pre-crime.” This concept will undoubtedly also be applied to ordinary Islamic beliefs that they have labelled “radical” and “extremist.”

By this logic, a Muslim who simply experiences negative thoughts about Israel for its vile genocide against Palestinians will be accused of the pre-crime of terrorism and swiftly arrested. You see, according to the US narrative, thinking negatively of Israel predisposes one to antisemitism, which in turn predisposes one to radicalism, which in turn predisposes one to terrorism.

Imagine a father who is having a disagreement with his daughter, which ends up becoming heated. Both the father and the daughter are becoming frustrated with the other. One of the remarks made by his daughter makes the father furious. This spike in angry emotions emanates from his amygdala and is detected by his Neuralink implant, and an alert is sent to the authorities. The Thought Police shows up at their house and arrests the father for the pre-crime of domestic abuse. The government has successfully rescued this poor girl from having to hear any criticism from her father for opening an OnlyFans account on the Neuranet (something he learned about from his colleagues). The abusive father, on the other hand, will be sentenced to jail, in addition to having to issue an endless barrage of apologies, with no hope of ever being forgiven, to the women of the world. He will also lose half his belongings in court, as his wife, disgusted by his horrific pre-crime, will promptly file for divorce. Thank goodness, the day is saved by the heroic Thought Police.

You might be wondering why the daughter’s high emotions, despite mirroring those of the father, didn’t trigger any alerts. Well, the reason is that such alerts will be switched off for women, as the liberal regime will decide that women can do no evil, and spikes in their emotions of anger and frustration will simply be the result of being helpless, voiceless victims in an oppressive society. Hence, their thoughts won’t count as “pre-crimes.” Similar rules will apply for other “oppressed” groups, such as the LGBT and Zionist communities. And if you think that not all of them are oppressed, then you’re a sexist, homophobic anti-Semite who should be sentenced to a ten-hour session where “Alice” will educate you about the holocaust. (She’ll snap you in half if you even think about running.)

Another way in which such pre-crimes can be punished comes in the form of a deduction in social credit score. Liberal governments are juicily eyeing up companies like X. After all, Musk has plans to make X half of the globe’s financial system, and with the idea of adopting digital currencies on the rise, such a goal doesn’t seem that far off. At that point, your entire financial worth will be in the form of social media points. And, of course, you could easily lose those hard-earned points for harboring sentiments about feminism being trash. However, let’s save Elon Musk’s “X” as the topic of discussion for another time.

A coherent post/article/story that has been articulated in the most splendid manner will instantly be available before them, ready to be exported from their mind, into the neural matrix.

But why even “write” anything to begin with? In this post-Neuralink AI world, I can hardly see the need for humans to even write content or produce anything themselves. When this Neuralink/AI/VR cross-hybrid is taking care of all of your cognitive functions for you, is there really even any need for you to put out any creative work? Simply let the AIs decide what is best while you just lay back, relax, and let your neural energies gradually deplete, until the day Malaku ‘l-Mawt (the angel of death) eventually appears before you.

The end of human cognition is a very scary thought indeed.

Let’s imagine an example of a hypothetical article on “climate change” compiled by the Neuralink AI for a Neuralink user. With a world of information at hand, where do you think it will derive its material from? Will it examine both sides of the argument? Will it consider reputable articles that deny climate change? Will it give any credence to reputable research which demonstrates that climate change is not a global threat or even a minor threat? Or will it simply start composing pages on end of information about why milk, meat, and eggs are the real culprit, why cows shouldn’t exist, and why it would be better if we all ate bugs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

Heavy censorship under the guise of preventing the spread of misinformation will be a huge issue with the Neuranet. It’s already difficult to research or even talk about certain topics without having the axe of censorship fall upon you from above. Discussing topics like the influence of Judaism on the extremist terroristic behavior of Israeli soldiers, for example, has to be done very carefully. Words have power. And the higher elites understand this very well. Thus, they weaponize it against Muslims—and the rest of the world too for that matter—in the form of censorship. Any kind of criticism of the currently presiding worldview is met with the threat of being banned.

The Internet, despite being purported as a free space where every kind of idea can be discussed, is a heavily censored entity where, quite often, the correct sources or the truth aren’t even available in the first place. And if it is, then it’s locked away in some deep, dark corner, never to see the light of day. Imagine a mountain where the truth is buried at the roots and, above them, the entire bulk of the mountain consists of falsehoods that have been piled up in layers; hundreds and hundreds of them. Reaching those enlightening depths requires a great deal of digging, and even then, those roots have been demarcated as a forbidden zone.

That’s similar to what the Internet is now: a mountain of lies where the truth has deliberately been buried deep below the surface, and warning signs about “misinformation” and “conspiracy theories” have been erected everywhere to discourage anyone from entering, exploring, or even looking at those areas. Can you imagine how much worse it will become with the Neuranet and AI?

Putting out information would be far easier than it is now on the Internet. And you better believe that WEF-employed keyboard warriors, dishonest intellectuals, and Zionist shills that have sold their souls will be hard at work producing and putting out as many false thoughts as possible. I can imagine the vast amounts of money that will be thrown at these people to upload thousands of lies onto the Neuranet on a daily basis. Their sole purpose will be to absolutely flood the Neuranet with their dishonest and deceptive thoughts, mountains upon mountains of falsehood, to the extent that opposing thoughts are completely overshadowed and pushed firmly out of view, never to be seen.

In addition to all of this, AI will have a far more sinister role to play on the Neuranet. Highly sophisticated bots will be employed by the liberal world order to produce volumes upon volumes of false information and narratives. A human being could never compete with the sheer amount of content an AI can produce. For every word that a human will write, an AI will produce hundreds of books. Good luck refuting a 5000-page article written by an AI, because by the time you’re done with checking the second page, it will already have produced a further ten similar articles.

Eventually, through mass surveillance and heavy censorship, the Neuranet will be purged of any kind of outside-the-box thinking. Like I had mentioned earlier, the human brain is adaptable. It can be trained to function a certain way. The US government will use a reward-punishment system to train humans to think a certain way, by promoting government endorsed narratives and banning any counternarratives (in addition to imprisoning those who have thoughts about such narratives). People will be forced to adopt and even believe in stances that align with the government’s guidelines. Because once you start thinking a certain thought over and over again, it progressively starts turning into a belief. This is the power of positive reinforcement utilized by liberal regimes to advertise their ideas to everyone.

It is highly likely that people who fiercely oppose the liberal secular worldview will not even get a Neuralink implant in the first place. Yes, despite the heavy enforcement and mass advertisement that will take place in the future, sensible people will most likely stay well away from the implants. With time, it’s possible that more and more people begin to give in and accept the implant, especially if they make the procedure of receiving an implant easier. If there’s no need to drill holes into skulls or go through dangerous surgeries, a greater percentage of the population can be convinced. Nonetheless, there will still be groups that will reject the Neuralink entirely. Eventually, it’s possible that humanity will be divided into two camps: those who get the implants and those who don’t.

Right now, we’re living in an era where humans haven’t fully merged with technology but are on the edge of doing so. It’s still possible to use technologies in order to spread awareness about their dangers and to oppose liberal secular narratives. But think to yourself. Will I really get a Neuralink implant in order to give cyber-Da’wah on the Neuranet? No chance, right? It could be argued that the pros of conducting online Da’wah on the Internet and social media presently outweigh the cons of not doing so, and that’s why the new generation of Muslims should use these tools as effectively as possible. The online space has become a sort of intellectual battlefield where Islam is rapidly gaining the upper-hand.

But can the same be said of Neuranet? Suppose a good chunk of people actually end up getting the implant. Of course, there will be hesitation at first and, especially with something as invasive as Neuralink, we can expect to see significantly more resistance to its acceptance than say, color TV or smartphones. But even so, many revolutionary technologies so far have seen a rise in use over a prolonged period of time. The elites that rule us are master manipulators, and they will use every trick in the book in order to try and convince us to get the implant.

Greed and fear, under the deceitful guise of necessity, will be used as the main selling points in order to persuade consumers into buying their products. Now, how exactly this will be done can only be understood once we’ve discussed the threats posed by Neuralink in a comprehensive manner. And, surprisingly, we haven’t even gotten to the worst aspects yet. So far, we’ve merely discussed the dangers of Neuralink arising as a result of the user being able to transmit their thoughts. So, for now, let’s just assume that, with time, Neuralink will become more widespread, and the liberal world order will be able to successfully convince a huge chunk of the population to overcome their aversions towards the lifetime commitment to Neuralink.

These people won’t be on the “normal” Internet anymore. They won’t be using social media the way many of us do now. Of course, the transition won’t be immediate. It’s very likely that, in the early stages, Neuralink users will also be on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc. But we need to understand the goals of the transhumanist elites. They don’t want a free platform where they will constantly be bugged by those who oppose the worldviews they want to implement in order to rule the world. And, unfortunately, even mass censorship can only get them so far. Just look at the monumental damage suffered by their reputation in the wake of Israel’s increased efforts to commit genocide against the Palestinians since October 7th.

And in order to maintain any semblance of being the “free West” and to prevent any actual resistance from taking place, they begrudgingly have to “allow” some level of freedom of speech. Take the situation in Palestine for instance. If they start banning and censoring every single video shared of the atrocities being committed and every post being made against Zionists, there is a very real chance of people responding by rising up and toppling their regime. They understand this risk, and they are playing the game accordingly, managing the Matrix they’ve created in such a way as to not “poke the hornet’s nest” too much. This pesky anti-US and anti-Israel noise is nevertheless quite bothersome for them, and it is something they have to put a lot of money and effort into countering, which is why they ultimately desire a unified platform where such people will be non-existent (or at the very least, an insignificant and miniscule minority).

And what better way to achieve that than with Neuralink? They can build a new network, the Neuranet, from scratch. A platform that will only be accessible to those who have the implant. They know that those most subservient to the liberal regime and hooked on the consumerist lifestyle will be the first ones to accept this technology. And so, it will be those who are more susceptible to psychological manipulation that make up the primary users on the Neuranet. Gradually, as the number of users increases, they will be integrated into this network where only liberal WEF approved narratives are allowed. The number of those who reject this technology will slowly diminish over time, and they will eventually have their dream platform where there will be zero opposition.

Of course, they have to allow “some” level of opposition from time to time, in order to let the users vent their frustrations. And we are all well aware of this kind of controlled opposition coming from conservative Zionist figures like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson. Any actual opposition will, again, be non-existent on the Neuranet.

My question is this:

In a world where a relatively large number of people whose only source of information will be the Neuranet, will getting a Neuralink implant be a good idea with the goal of getting onto the Neuranet to give telepathic Da’wah and warn against liberalism, feminism, etc.?

I think the answer should be a resounding no. I think we are approaching a point in time when it would be better to abandon such technologies altogether rather than attempting to use it for Da’wah purposes. This is because there will be greater harm in Muslims getting the implant than there will any potential benefit in giving Neuro-Da’wah, even if Neuralink ends up becoming popular or “the norm,” the way that smartphones, social media, and the Internet are now. Remember, we are never required to put our own Iman (faith in Islam) at risk for the sake of others. Saving ourselves is our greatest responsibility and priority.

Envisioning The Neuralink Nightmare

The human nervous system, as it relates to thoughts, can be viewed as a tool for expression.

Firstly, we manifest our thoughts into the physical world in several ways through the nervous system. For example, when we want to convey a message in our mind to someone standing in front of us, our brain sends specific signals to our vocal cords, which we move in specific ways in order to produce specific sounds through our mouth that the person will understand. In short, we have the act of speaking.

Secondly, we physically “act out” our thoughts through voluntary movements. Earlier, we looked at the the video game analogy and the example of forming a fist using our mind. All voluntary muscle movements work the same way, including speech (the tongue is made up of muscles after all). In this way, our words and actions are based on our intentions, with the nervous system acting as the intermediary between the two.

Writing was one of the first inventions where we actually used a “device” detached from our body to express our thoughts. Using their hands, humans deposited the information in their minds onto a piece of parchment; or even earlier, when they made inscriptions on stone tablets and cave walls. This was a neat invention that allowed the “external storage” and dissemination of information. One could now inscribe their thoughts and save them for later generations. Of course, oral methods of teaching and transmission existed, but this was, at least according to secular academia, a better way of transmitting information. Because there was a real trade-off for this supposedly more efficient method of transmission, it greatly reduced reliance on memory. And with the invention of technologies like smartphones, that reliance decreased exponentially.

But Neuralink won’t just be an intermediary between the mind and smartphones, it will be the intermediary between the mind and every controllable electronic device.

There is an on-going debate as to whether or not humans should make the move over to self-driving cars. Well, with the Neuralink, it will be possible to drive/pilot vehicles entirely with your mind—be it cars, ships, or even aircrafts. There will be no need to physically shift between gears or maneuver steering wheels. In fact, there will be no need to even be present in the vehicle at all. Unless you want to use the vehicle for transporting yourself, you can sit comfortably in a room somewhere and control the vehicle with your thoughts. One can imagine how useful that might be to governments in war scenario. Fighter jets, tanks, and drones, all will be controlled by some random overly obese “soldier” sitting miles away from the scene of action, while licking their ice cream. Though they can technically already do that, now they won’t even have to move their hands to launch rockets and missiles at innocent, starving children. Imagine how much of a dream come true this would be for pathetic cowardly armies like the Israeli “Diaper” Forces.

There’s a lot of risk involved in running industrial machinery. With this technology, construction workers can just sit back and maneuver devices like cranes and excavators from afar. Again, this would be a dream come true for Israeli bulldozer operators. They could flatten countless homes of Palestinian families with no manpower required whatsoever. These depraved, perverted soldiers will be able to make Tik Toks of themselves rummaging through and wearing dead women’s undergarments while simultaneously carrying out a genocide.

Driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs is already a very serious problem, especially in the West, and it is something that leads to many tragedies. Now imagine that in combination with the Neuralink. These people would be treating the streets like a video game, running over and killing people over with no regard for life. Can people really be entrusted with this much power? Liberal governments are actually very likely to make this exact argument and use it to transform areas into “smart cities,” where even the roads and vehicles will be controlled electronically. Sure, the drivers will be able to choose where their vehicles go with their minds. However, this freedom will only exist within the confines set by the government. In the name of safety, such driving will be very tightly regulated. But the comfort of telepathically ordering Drive GPT to take you back home and then enjoying the ride while consuming content will be too hard to pass up for many people. After all, sacrificing freedom and privacy in exchange for ease and comfort is very on-brand for consumerist societies.

Let’s take a look at what the life of a regular Neuralink user might look like in a post-Neuralink world, as he returns to his home in the “Smart City”:

The Neuralink user cruises towards the entrance of his home on an automated comfy device, the Slide-Bot—a glorified wheel-chair for smart city dwellers who’ve lost too much muscle mass and gained too much fat, leaving them unable to walk. As he cruises towards the entrance, he “wills” the doors to slide open.

 

As he enters his home, a single thought is enough to turn the lights on and get the screens running. There was a world where he would need to grab a remote to switch on the air conditioning and turn a knob to heat up his food in the microwave. That world is now far behind him. Everything runs on thoughts now. Pure brain energy. He wills his Slide-Bot to carry him over to the kitchen, where everything is warm and ready. On his way there, he telepathically blends a shake to accompany his food. However, the 600-pound man lets out a long, sorrowful sigh, thinking to himself:

 

“If only there was something that could put all this food together in a tray and feed it to me. Why must I wait two whole months for President Schwab to release Home-Bot 3.0? At least that special package of mine is due to arrive any minute now.”

 

After his meal, he mindlessly surfs the Neuranet. Suddenly, he receives a message from someone about how awful the latest Marvel movie was. “Even the actors are now CGI and AI has taken out all the joy from the scripts.” He fumes at this blasphemous comment made by his… his cousin? Brother? It’s definitely someone he knows, but who exactly? Little remains in his junk-addled brain apart from fog. As he struggles to remember who this contact is, he gazes into the virtual screens plastering his walls. He tries his hardest to remember. However, the harder he tries, the thicker the fog becomes.

 

“Forget it, it’s too much effort,” he thinks to himself. “Not worth it.”

 

But he is angry. Things like this leave him feeling furious. And today in particular was just not his day. The Slide-Bot went around a bend a little too fast, resulting in his toe being stubbed. This just added to his frustration. There’s only so much discomfort a person can tolerate before he hits his breaking point. The screens suddenly start flashing a deep red as an AI voice announces:

 

“ALERT! UNSTABLE EMOTIONAL STATE DETECTED!”

 

It was the third time that this was happened to him this month alone. The voice repeats the alert over and over again, increasing his frustration even more. There is a soft hissing sound, as a cloud of gas is released into the room, quickly sedating him. He falls asleep almost instantly, and as he does, he allows the memory of whoever had messaged him slip away altogether.

 

A notification pops into his head, waking him up abruptly. Upon reading it, his groggy eyes widen:

 

“My package has arrived!”

 

Without moving an inch, he opens the door. An Amazon bot walks in, carrying another robot labelled, “Fantasy Android (Female).” He quickly transfers a tip to the delivery-bot (you see, AI have rights now too) and uploads a copy his online virtual AI girlfriend into the physical android. The robotic husk starts walking around and talking to him, in exactly the same way that his customized AI girlfriend would. The android is extremely realistic. He telepathically tells “her” to make him a sandwich, and “she” complies. This man is over the moon.

 

He quickly unlocks a special cabinet in his house. It must be charged by now, he thinks to himself. In that cabinet, there is a second android. This time, it’s a 6ft tall, handsome and muscular, male android. This is in fact, his alter ego. His other self. Modeled to look exactly like his online avatar. Very cutting-edge technology. And what is its purpose? Well, the man takes out his VR Headset, and he puts it on. After strapping the VR headset to his face, there is the sound of something activating. The android opens its “eyes.”

 

Gazing through the two HD cameras placed in its metallic “eye” sockets, the android looks down to see his actual body, slouched in the Slide-Bot. Had he put on even more weight? For a moment, he glimpses the sorry state he’s in. But then he glances at a mirror to the side of him. He sees “his” attractive frame reflected in it, the dense muscle composition and “his” chiseled physique. The man, who was actually looking through the VR headset, feels like he’s looking through the eyes of this android—as if he IS the android.

 

“The company has really outdone itself this time. This silicone looks just like real skin!”

 

Although he can’t feel “his” silicone skin, he appreciates how real it looks. He’s aware that it’s just a metal frame and wires on the inside, but that’s not what matters. It’s about what’s on the outside. He looks at “his” hands, and he thinks of forming a fist. And sure enough, the silicone-coated metal hand follows his command.

 

There is a whirring sound as he “looks” around. There is a slight delay between his thoughts and the movements of the android. But that’s fine. The technology will improve. It always does.

 

He starts flexing in the mirror, once again blown away by the android’s physique. He had never done a single push-up, let alone having been to the gym. He’d heard about people going to the gym for years on end, following a strict diet and routine, pushing themselves to their limits, and still not looking anywhere near as good as “he” did right now. What wasted effort, he thought to himself. Much easier to just surrender yourself to the system and look infinitely better than what could be achieved through “hard work.” Not only did he look better, he was stronger too. Much stronger. The metallic framework of the android could lift much heavier weights and the combat variants could even break through walls.

 

Of course, the combat variants were only reserved for the army and were deemed unsafe for an AI-home environment.

 

He looks at his AI girlfriend in the kitchen and thinks of calling out to her. A mechanical sound emanates from a voice box in the android’s throat. Experiencing the world from the android’s perspective felt like an out-of-body experience, almost as if he was submerged underwater. As he turns on his favorite music through the AI home systems, the female android turns to look at him with a smile. He smiles back. By being a slave to the government, he had become the master of this house.

 

Being able to control technology like this, walking around in this robot, it all felt indistinguishable from magic. Life couldn’t possibly get any better. The man was happy.

 

Just as this thought had crossed his mind, everything goes black.

 

He hears a loud crash. A few moments pass, he doesn’t realize what has happened. Have the android’s cameras malfunctioned? Has he been sedated again. Eventually, it dawns on him that he is “back” in his own body. The VR headset had switched off. He tugs the strap off and looks around. The screens were gone, and only a blank wall was staring back at him. The lights were off too. He telepathically commands the lights to turn back on. Nothing happens. He tries again. Nothing. An uneasy feeling washes over him. He calls his AI girlfriend. Again, no response.

 

As his eyes adjust to the darkness, he is barely able to make out something on the ground next to him. It’s the slumped-up body of the male android, lying in an awkward position. It’s the same with the female android. Panic begins to settle in as he realizes what’s going on.

 

“There’s been a power outage!”

 

It had been decades since he’d had to deal with anything as remotely anxiety inducing as this. He tries again and again to move his Slide-Bot towards the exit but to no avail. Without any electricity, the bot is dead, just like everything else in the house. Even the androids had to be connected to online servers 24/7 in order to function. Of course, the government hadn’t given users autonomy to use them offline. The fact that the androids were not functioning meant that the Neuranet was down, which could only be caused by a massive blackout.

 

He didn’t even try to go towards the exit by himself. He knew full well that he was physically unable to crawl or even roll, let alone walk all the way there. He couldn’t remember the last time he had “walked.” Surely, his legs must be useless by now. And so, he musters up all of his strength, and he calls out for help. Except, nothing comes out. After several attempts, the best he manages are a few weak grunts. This was the first time in a long time that he had actually had to use his voice. His actual voice, not the AI generated sound bites.

 

He gives up after a while, sweating profusely from just the act of using his vocal cords. Breathing heavily, he realizes just how bad the apartment smells. And the sound. Never before has he heard this particular sound before. Silence. Deafening silence. He can’t stand not being constantly stimulated. As his dopamine receptors scream out in agony, he feels physically sick, like a drug addict experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. The more time that passes, the worse he feels. And there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it. Even if he could walk, what would he do? He doesn’t know how to survive “out there.” He’s never had to do anything by himself. All his life, he had this wonderful magical technology take care of everything for him. All he needed were his thoughts. And now that they were all he was left with, he was completely terrified.

 

Hours passed by. Stripped of all his gadgets and the Neuranet and with nothing but time on his hands, the man begins to do something he hasn’t done in a very long time. He begins to contemplate.

 

He looks back at his life, to all the achievements he has accumulated. Nothing comes to mind. Not a single significant thing to leave behind as his legacy. No wife. No children. Before now, concepts like having a family had never even occurred to him. He had been happily married to his devices, and they had been taking care of him all this time. Was that what they were really doing, though? Or had they been slowly poisoning him, weakening him from the inside? Weakening his mind, body, and spirit? Just thinking about these things was uncomfortable, and it made his head hurt.

 

He looks again towards the exit, just a mere few meters away from him. All the fancy illusions had made him think that he was the master of his life, whereas in reality, he wasn’t even the master of his own body. As the regrets pile up, tears begin to roll down his face. He completely breaks down as he is forced to realize the life he had thrown away in exchange for nothing. The panic and depression are consuming him. Questions that he had never thought of begin appearing in front of him:

 

“What have I done?”

“What am I doing here?”

“What is my purpose?”

“Who am I?”

“Am I going to die?”

 

The thoughts begin to coalesce into a frenzy, and the severe disorientation is at the brink of making him lose his mind.

 

Just at that moment, when all seems lost, the power returns.

 

The lights, the screens, the music, all of it comes back on at once. His AI girlfriend and the male android, both mechanically spring back up. The AI voice makes another announcement explaining how there had been a power outage due to a few computer errors in the automated grid system. Apparently, the AI that was in charge of managing the AI that was in charge of managing the AI that managed the entire system had malfunctioned, and there wasn’t yet an AI to manage that AI. It had taken an eternity for an actual human to show up and fix it.

 

The man looks around, his senses once again slowly leaving him. As a wave of relaxation passes over him, it takes all the worries away along with it. He is back on the Neuranet. The lights, the music, the laughter of the female android, they all feel so great. Safe. Comfortable. As he reaches out for his VR headset, he hesitates. He doesn’t understand why. All of a sudden, it feels wrong to wear that thing. An voice inside him tells him not to do it. It feels like this is a matter or life and death. Whatever decision he makes here will dictate the rest of his life.

 

Ultimately, the man pushes these thoughts aside and simply decides to wear it. His muscles relax as he slouches back into the Slide-Bot, almost as if it was absorbing him. He allows the illusory comfort of denial to take over, this time knowing what a grave mistake he’s making. And with that, he begrudgingly let’s go of all the important realizations that had swept over him during these testing hours.

 

“None of that matters now,” he thinks to himself. “The magic is back.”
