Atheism, in a desperate bid to remain relevant, is gradually rebranding itself with a new belief system, one that is replete with its very own “mythological lore.” You see, believing in abiogenesis just isn’t sufficient for atheists anymore.
For the existence of all life on Earth to hinge on a completely unknown origin which is best explained by a hypothetical involving a random bolt of lightning and some kind of cosmic chemical soup leading to the formation of primitive proteins after which things just magically took off is a bit too far-fetched. It requires a little too much faith, even for atheists.
So, nearing their short expiration date of relevance and believability, they are now jumping ship to what they consider to be the next best explanation: ancient advanced alien civilizations that created life on Earth.
Just think about it. How long did we honestly expect atheism to survive in its original “creator-less” form? And even now, it is mostly being fuelled by an extreme disdain for Islam. Usually, it’s the emotional hatred towards Islam, instilled within atheists by new atheists like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris, that blinds them from rationally evaluating just how stupid and irrational atheism is. However, even despite this, the atheist paradigm is having a hard time maintaining its hold over the cult that it has formed over the past few decades. Inferential arguments against atheism, such as the implication of Intelligent Design, simple thought experiments like “could a smartphone come into existence on its own?,” and the fine-tuning and complex functional nature of the universe and its inhabitants resonates with the very being of these atheists, despite them constantly rejecting it.

And now that atheism and evolution on their own are no longer enough, now that a void is left in the atheist’s heart and a gap in his rational mind that demands a creator, we have seen the rise of a supplementary explanation in pop culture and entertainment media. This explanation has surfaced in a few different forms, but it usually follows a common trend. I’ll state a few examples to illustrate how this idea has been presented in pop culture media.
The movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey, portrays unseen creatures from higher dimensions being involved in the evolutionary process of mankind, guiding their progress as a species from chimps to humans, then from humans to a transcendental super-race. In another movie called Prometheus, astronauts travel to a different planet and discover that humans were actually designed by an alien race with advanced technology, particularly advanced biotechnology.
This theme is even found in popular video games such as Mass Effect, Halo, and the Assassin’s Creed series. The last one goes a step further and shows these alien civilizations leaving behind signs and relics of their presence, while also suggesting that all the ancient religions of the world actually revolved around worshipping these alien “creators,” and that the miracles mentioned in religious books like the Qur’an and the Bible were actually possible due to the advanced technology possessed by these aliens. Thus, these new types of explanations have effectively transformed the atheist narrative into a full-blown polytheistic religion that revolves around alien worship.
If we step outside of the realm of pop culture, we see that this narrative is also emerging in academic circles. For instance, in the field of archaeology, Professor Graham Hancock, who has beliefs similar to these, has started to become quite popular as of late:
Hancock proposes that an advanced civilization with spiritual technology existed during the last Ice Age until it was destroyed following comet impacts around 12,900 years ago, at the onset of the Younger Dryas. He speculates that survivors of this cataclysm passed on their knowledge to primitive hunter-gatherers around the world, giving rise to all the earliest known civilizations (such as ancient Egypt, Sumeria, and Mesoamerica).
He has even appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience, theorizing about architectural monuments such as the Great Pyramids also having been constructed by ancient civilizations of this nature, with advanced technology.

The direction towards which these theories seem to be culminating is that you have these higher-dimensional super aliens which have created, influenced, and guided mankind for centuries, that humans initially worshipped these aliens as deities, going so far as to make statues and entire religions that revolved around them. Somewhere down the line though, that essence was lost in translation. As a result, all that modern humans are left with are remnants for historians and archaeologists to piece together.
What seems bizarre to me is that this sounds an awful lot like an unnecessarily convoluted version of the straightforward truth that Islam presents. The One Supreme Creator, Allah, created, influenced, and guided mankind for centuries, sending them His Prophets and His Books. Mankind initially worshipped Allah alone, but somewhere along the line the essence of Monotheism was lost, and they were tricked by Satan into worshipping false deities.
Unfortunately, however, it seems like these atheists, due to their immense hatred for religion, will gladly believe in the former explanation while vehemently rejecting the latter, despite having zero empirical evidence for either and not realizing how the former is a polytheistic religious belief in and of itself.
Regardless, the alien explanation doesn’t save atheism either. As we shall see, this theory has massively glaring problems of its own. For instance, where did these advanced aliens come from? Who created them? Were they created by an even more advanced intelligent lifeform? In that case, where did that more advanced intelligent lifeform come from? This starts a chain of infinite regression that again leaves atheism in total darkness and confusion. They’ve come up with some fantastical explanations for intelligent design and maybe even evolution, but that’s where this fantasy comes to a sudden halt. If we go any further back, there are answers offered for the question of how things even came to be. Why do things exist in the first place, and how can something come from nothing? Did non-existence just magically come into existence at the Big Bang? Who caused the Big Bang? The most fundamental questions regarding atheism still remain unanswered, even with the bonkers theories of ancient advanced aliens.
Of course, Muslims are saved from this dilemma. We know very well Who created us. We know the purpose of our creation and why we are here. We have been given clear guidelines on how to live our lives and how interact with the rest of creation. Our existence makes sense. As for certain specific details that we have not been given access to in this life, i.e., the Unseen (ghayb), we simply say Allah Knows best, and we move on. Unfortunately, this is not a luxury that the atheists have. No matter how advanced their false ancient alien civilization gods are, they don’t know best. No matter what crazy and ridiculous explanations the atheists keep coming up with, there will always be gaps, and those gaps can only be filled by belief in Allah.
And what do you think the ultimate purpose of life will be for these atheists anyhow? Worshipping a certain deity also entails submitting to it. In the case of the atheists, it also means following in their footsteps. So, it may be the case that the atheists who adopt belief in these advanced technologically superior alien “creators” will also espouse to be like them and follow in their footsteps by advancing technology. These people will thus become the greatest advocates of transhumanism, championing a cause that they believe will lead to technological transcendence and immortality. Because remember, according to them, humans are still simply soulless pieces of matter, mere flesh and bones. They see death as an extremely scary prospect that leads into eternal nothingness and non-existence. In their pitiful little minds, the ultimate dream of humanity is to become immortal and explore different galaxies using technology. We see such sentiments being espoused by some of the biggest transhumanists of our time, like Elon Musk for example.
To transcend their mortal selves and evolve into a higher advanced species through technology is the “Afterlife” of these transhumanist atheists, and, in this new polytheistic religion, it is these false technological gods that they worship.

Assassin’s creed is just ridiculously made and they alternate history,then retell the fabricated events to youngsters but Mass Effect Andromeda was systematically made to leave a mysterious remark which is enough to make atheists believe in those things(Remnant technology as God) or something similar in real world.The remnant technology which are inanimate can control a planet’s climate,produce life and even replicate them.
I would like to say that it’s possible that the building of pyramids and huge mountain temples by Egyptians and native Americans could have been miracles done by the prophets and messengers of Allah who were sent to those people and those building may have originally meant to be miracles for the people their the people still rejected the message .

To be fair, there is evidence that the Egyptians built the pyramids themselves. Such as records and a diary of an architect.

The Diary of Merer (Papyrus Jarf A and B). Local limestone from quarries near Giza was the primary material for the bulk of the pyramid’s core. The outside stone casing were made from high quality white limestone from Tura what Papyrus A and B talk about.
In Aswan, evidence of granite quarrying shows how the massive granite blocks used in the King’s Chamber were cut and transported to Giza. There was also the discovery of the Giza workers village where they lived temporally for a few years to make the pyramids.
Yes I never said it’s factual but it’s possible and only Allah knows best but however there is enough evidence that the Egyptians managed to build the pyramids on their own.
