Introduction
India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is no longer just a regional political force. It has become a global ideological exporter, working systematically to advance its Hindutva agenda well beyond Indian borders—particularly in the United States. This expansion isn’t just soft diplomacy or diaspora engagement. It is a calculated effort to reframe international discourse, discredit Muslim resistance, and normalize religious nationalism as a global political framework.
More concerning is its growing alignment with Zionist movements, creating a transnational power bloc targeting Muslims through law, media, and policy. The struggles over Kashmir and Palestine are not isolated. They are fronts of a shared ideological war. And the Muslim ummah’s response must be global and strategic.
The BJP’s Lobbying Network in the United States

In 2020, the BJP’s U.S. affiliate, Overseas Friends of BJP-USA (OFBJP-USA), formally registered itself with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). This marked a pivotal turning point—making overt what had already been in operation covertly for years.
According to filings reviewed by ThePrint and FARA.gov, OFBJP-USA hired Cornerstone Government Affairs, a major Washington lobbying firm, to promote BJP-aligned interests such as counterterrorism cooperation and strengthening U.S.-India ties. These vague objectives mask deeper intentions: to shield India from criticism on the issue of Kashmir, the Citizenship Amendment Act, and systemic violence against Muslims.
Further demonstrating its transnational influence, OFBJP-USA coordinated a massive campaign during the 2024 Indian elections—mobilizing over 3,000 Indian-Americans to campaign in India and making more than 2.5 million calls to Indian voters. It was a global election machine serving a nationalist regime, funded from and organized on American soil.

Zionist-Hindutva Alignment: A Global Power Bloc

Hindutva’s global operations have increasingly mirrored and aligned with those of Zionist institutions. Both movements seek to reframe settler-colonial occupation—whether in Palestine or Kashmir—as defensive statehood. They collaborate on shaping public discourse and legislation, portraying Muslim resistance as “extremism.”
In recent years, the Hindu American Foundation (HAF), a key BJP-aligned advocacy group in the U.S., has partnered with pro-Israel organizations like the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in forums on “shared democratic values” and “countering radicalism.” These events provide a veneer of civil dialogue while advancing an agenda that undermines Muslim civil rights.
This alliance also played out in California when both HAF and pro-Israel lobbies opposed legislation addressing caste-based discrimination. Although the bill was supported by Dalit, Muslim, and Christian groups, these organizations argued that it unfairly targeted Hindus—another example of coordinated lobbying to protect systemic hierarchies under the guise of religious freedom.
The Masjid Under Pressure

The reach of BJP-linked rhetoric extends into local U.S. Muslim communities. From opposing school curricula to spreading misinformation about Muslim-led projects, the targeting of masajid and Muslim institutions is part of a broader effort to suppress the Muslim political space.
A telling example occurred in Texas with the launch of Epic City, a proposed Muslim-centered community development initiated by the East Plano Islamic Center. Following its announcement, far-right and Hindutva-aligned narratives quickly emerged online, portraying the project as a threat to American values and falsely claiming it was part of a “Shari’ah takeover.” Senator John Cornyn even called for federal scrutiny—demonstrating how Islamophobic lobbying efforts now shape local U.S. policy conversations.

Kashmir Is Not a Regional Issue—It’s a Global Muslim Struggle

The BJP’s aggressive foreign lobbying strategy makes one thing abundantly clear: its goal is to transform the narrative on Kashmir from a story of obvious colonization to one of counterterrorism. The same playbook used by Zionist advocates for Israel is being applied to Kashmir.
Lobbyists aligned with the BJP have opposed U.S. congressional efforts like House Resolution 745, which sought to acknowledge human rights violations in Kashmir. By weaponizing phrases like “anti-India” and “divisive,” these groups pressured lawmakers to withdraw support—despite the well-documented abuses of media blackouts, arbitrary arrests, and suppression of religious expression.
Furthermore, think tanks with links to India’s security establishment, such as the Vivekananda International Foundation, have co-hosted events with American institutions such as the Hudson Institute. These forums amplify narratives that portray Kashmiris as radicalized threats, ignoring decades of indigenous resistance and legitimate political grievances.
This coordinated narrative war aims to isolate Kashmiris not just from the international community but also from the wider Muslim ummah.
The Path Forward: Toward a Pan-Islamic Bloc

The ideological infrastructure shared by Zionist and Hindutva movements is transnational. It operates through joint lobbying, aligned legal efforts, and parallel media narratives. Muslims, meanwhile, remain divided along national, sectarian, or linguistic lines.
Zionist lobbies helped pass anti-BDS laws across U.S. states to criminalize support for Palestinian liberation. Today, BJP-linked groups are pushing resolutions like H.Res.69, which seeks to criminalize “Hinduphobia”—a loosely defined term increasingly used to silence any critique of India’s caste system, Hindu nationalism, or its anti-Muslim and anti-Christian laws.
These efforts are not just about PR. They are about controlling legislation, legal protections, and access to public platforms.
If Muslims continue to respond in isolation—through fragmented campaigns, disconnected diplomacy, or reactive protests—we will continue to lose ground. What is required is a Pan-Islamic political, legal, and media alliance that can:
- Coordinate diplomatic responses through forums like the OIC;
- Fund media institutions to challenge hostile narratives;
- Provide legal and civic protection to Muslim communities globally; and
- Support resistance movements materially and morally, from Kashmir to Gaza.
Conclusion
The BJP’s efforts in the U.S. are not about Indian pride—they are about global control. Through lobbying, alliances, and cultural influence, they are silencing dissent, legitimizing oppression, and exporting an ideology that seeks to erase Muslim political agency.
The same machine that imprisons a Kashmiri child for throwing a pebble is funding a conference in Washington. The same ideology that is bulldozing homes in Delhi is pushing resolutions in Congress.
This is one struggle. And only a united Muslim ummah can respond with the strength it demands.

Ok, but they’re still seen as curry munching street shitters by the western powers, rightly so. The right wing nut bars hate Muslims sure, but are equally annoyed by hindutva clowns. Besides, they are personality worshipers and can’t do much without an iconic face. The last one India had was Indira Gandhi. Once Modi pulls the pin, hindutva is going to retrograde 10 years minimum.
That, rightwingers already gotten fed up with indians in general. It’s not gonna sit well with them. Especially with H-1b fiasco done by elon musk, reputations are already in bad spot
Trump is already twisting Modi’s arm on the Gautam Adani scandal. Of course they will play them for their own anti-brown man colonial pursuits not for Muslim benefits.
I’m ready to help but how exactly can we help? How do we begin?
